- He started as a rapper in 1991. His first song, Maganda Ang Piliin (Ayoko Ng Panget) (Pick Someone Beautiful (I Don't Like Ugly)), an answer song to the then hugely popular rap song Humanap Ka Ng Panget (Look for Someone Ugly) by Andrew E. also became a popular hit that launched his showbiz career.

At the bottom of the cover are the words Yari Ka! which is what Michael V. exclaims at the end of every item on Bitoy's Funniest Videos, one of his two fun shows (the other is Bubble Gang) on GMA 7.
