Is the decade-long “The Voice” Instant Save curse about to be broken? If John Legend‘s Florida singer Omar Jose Cardona ends up winning Season 22 during the Tuesday, December 13 finale, he’ll make history as the first artist to prevail who was previously saved by social media users. Since the creation of the Instant Save twist in Season 6, none of its recipients have ever gone on to win “The Voice.” Britton Buchanan (Season 14) and Toneisha Harris (Season 18) came closest by each placing second behind their winners, but all of the other times the saved artist finished near the bottom of their respective finales.

Camila Cabello may be the rookie coach on Season 22 of “The Voice,” but the pop diva quickly proved she doesn’t back down from what she wants. On Monday’s premiere episode, Camila hit her block button on Gwen Stefani almost instantly after the first performance began. The mysterious voice was Morgan Myles, a 35-year old musician from Nashville singing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” John Legend was next to turn his chair followed quickly by Blake Shelton. The fight was on. Watch Morgan’s full blind audition (without the results) below.

Is the years-long “The Voice” instant save curse about to be broken? The blind auditions of the 21st season of “The Voice” came to a close last week with a whopping seven four-chair turns from coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and first timer Ariana Grande. Kelly was queen of the dais, nabbing four of those artists, while Blake claimed two, John one and Ariana couldn’t bring any to her team.
The first artist to perform for the judges this season was Girl Named Tom, a trio of siblings that wowed the coaches with their harmonizing on “Helplessly Hoping.” At the time we didn’t know that season 21’s blinds would be dominated by groups (a total of five made the show), and yet somehow Girl Named Tom remained the strongest of the bunch and one of the best auditions overall.

“Never!” is the quick response Emmy winner Carson Daly has when asked if he predicted his hosting gig on “The Voice” would last for 20 seasons. “It was quite the opposite. People thought we were crazy. If you recall the landscape in television at that time, ‘American Idol,’ by all accounts, was kind of rounding third heading for home after their monumental success. Yet there still seemed to be an appetite for singing competitions because ‘X-Factor’ was coming over from Europe. When we got this format from Holland, we had a very small window of time to get it on NBC before ‘X-Factor.’ We never thought we’d last, we barely thought we would survive.” Watch the exclusive video interview with Daly above.

“That was a breathtaking experience,” reveals Cam Anthony after being crowned the Season 20 winner of “The Voice.” “It was a reflective moment for sure. I ended up crying because it was such a moving moment for me. I spent so much time working towards this. It’s very fulfilling.” Cam became coach Blake Shelton‘s eighth champion on the 10th anniversary of the NBC reality TV competition. Watch our exclusive video interview above.

We could tell from the start — all of us, right? When 19-year-old Cam Anthony covered Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down” in the Season 20 premiere of The Voice, we knew that he would win — or at least very well could. TVLine put him at the top of its Most Likely to Succeed countdown. Blake Shelton promised that if Cam joined his team, the coach wouldn’t recruit anyone else in his lane. (And by God, he kept that promise, too.)
And it turned out, we were all right. At the end of Monday’s finale (recapped in full here), Cam...

Spoiler Alert: The story includes information about the Season 20 finale of NBC’s The Voice.
No eleventh-hour surprises as frontrunner Cam Anthony, a 19-year-old former child prodigy from Philadelphia, was named The Voice champion tonight.
Anthony, who could be the last ever spring winner as The Voice is switching to one cycle a year last season, airing in the fall, brought the eighth victory for coach Blake Shelton who had tipped the teenager as a future a superstar.
In the finale, Anthony faced the other top 5 finalists – Jordan Matthew Young from Team Blake, Victor Solomon from Team Legend, Kenzie Wheeler from Team Kelly and Rachel Mac from Team Nick.
Anthony performed the Golden Globe, Oscar and Grammy-nominated anthem “Stand Up” by Cynthia Erivo from the film Harriet and a rendition of “Wanted Dead Or Alive” by Bon Jovi.

During Tuesday’s finale of “The Voice” Season 20, fans everywhere celebrated the return of one of the reality TV show’s original coaches, Adam Levine. The former occupant of the big red chair reunited with old “frenemy” Blake Shelton at the start of the episode. As you’ll recall, Levine was a coach on the reality TV program between Season 1 and Season 16, leaving unexpectedly after that and being replaced last-minute by Shelton’s girlfriend Gwen Stefani.
“I was just texting to say I can’t wait to see you,” a giddy Blake told a pink-haired Adam in the pre-taped video package. After they took a selfie together, Adam got annoyed by how excited Blake was to see him. When Adam walked toward the entrance of the building, Blake told him, “I’m texting you that you’re wearing two shirts right now. Did you get the text? Did you get it?...

As the only coach who’s been with “The Voice” since day one, Blake Shelton understandably has more victories than anyone else. But that still doesn’t take away from the fact that he just won his 8th championship out of 20 seasons thanks to Cam Anthony. (See “The Voice” winners list.)
Season 20 ended on Tuesday night with Cam, the 19-year-old soul/R&b singer from Pennsylvania, claiming victory over Kenzie Wheeler (Team Kelly Clarkson), Jordan Matthew Young (also Team Blake), Rachel Mac (Team Nick Jonas) and Victor Solomon (Team John Legend). In recent weeks, Blake received flack for saying Cam would become the show’s biggest “superstar” ever, but he doubled down on that statement during the two-night finale.

No pressure or anything, Cam Anthony. However, going into Tuesday’s Season 20 finale of The Voice, he was not only the favorite to win but the contestant that over and over again coach Blake Shelton had suggested could be the first actual superstar launched by the show.
The general sentiment, in so far as I could glean it, was that we all really liked Team Kelly Clarkson’s Kenzie Wheeler and had been particularly blown away by Team John Legend’s Victor Solomon in his showstopping performance Monday night. Cam, though… he was the one to beat. (He’d been...

A winner has finally been crowned on this landmark 10th anniversary season of “The Voice.” The five finalists in the running to win Season 20 were Cam Anthony of Team Blake Shelton, Kenzie Wheeler of Team Kelly Clarkson, Jordan Matthew Young of Team Blake, Rachel Mac of Team Nick Jonas and Victor Solomon of Team John Legend. Heading into Tuesday’s grand finale, Gold Derby’s exclusive odds gave Cam the best chance of earning the confetti shower (meaning coach Blake would earn his eighth victory on the show), so did our predictions come true?
