Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark, the first episode of the show to eminate from Universal Studios in oprlando. Yes, Aew is bringing studio wrestling to their brand Finally making a distinction between Aew’s various programmes.
Match #1: The Butcher & The Blade def. Rosario Grillo & Hunter Knott
My Thoughts: Good god The Butcher looks even more vicious than before his injury. Along with his tag team partner The Blade he decimated their opponents Rosario Grillo & Hunter Knott, getting the pin in definitive fashion in under Two minutes, showing that the Butcher is definitely back and back in business!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Anna Jay def. Ashley D’Amboise
My Thoughts: Anna Jay’s first singles outing after her injury saw her swiftly defeat Ashley D’Amboise, who, like a lot of talent of Dark and Elevation, is imporving week in week out. To be fair to...

Welcome to this review of a special bonus pre-ppv edition of Aew: Dark, which was the final show before All Out, building further to the matches on the pay per view card – including a nice addition to the Women’s Casino Battle Royale match!
Match #1: 2point0 def. Roario Grillo and Hunter Knott
My Thoughts: This was another match to set up the dominating run of 2point0. The duo took charge early on in this one and never let go. Your typical squash match.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Wheeler Yuta def. Baron Black
My Thoughts: I was rooting for Baron Black in this one. Not that I don’t like Wheeler Yuta but Black has put in a Lot of work during the pandemic era of Aew and really should be getting a push of some kind by now. But this one was really was a continuation of Yuta’s push/rise.

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which opens with a promo and ad for Aew’s newest show, which starts this month, Aew: Rampage. And don’t worry, unlike some sites we’re still going to be bringing you Elevation and Dark reviews, as well Rampage! Yes, Four All Elite Wrestling shows a week. A week!
Match #1: Red Velvet def. Angelica Risk
My Thoughts: And we open with what I’ve copyrighted as the Aew quasi-squash. Red Velvet let Risk get some moves in, show off even (twerking in the ring… really?) but she was in control for the entire time. A light and fluffy match, much like Red Velvet’s baked goods namesake!
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Lee Johnson def. Marcus Kross
My Thoughts: Mr Dragonball hair himself, Marcus Kross, is back on Dark programming! You can’t say its not a good...

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark, I’m Phil and this is the last episode of Dark before Aew go back on the post-Covid road… Which means we might not be seeing some of the extras/enhancement talent going forward, which makes me sad. Anyway on with the review.
Match #1: Lance Archer def. Ryan Mantell
My Thoughts: Archer didin’t go ham on Ryan Mantell, giving the debuting wrestler a chance to show off before getting pummeled by Archer for the win. Made a real change seeing Archer wrestle for a little bit rather than just throw his opponent around the ring.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Qt Marshall & Aaron Solow def. Terrell & Terence Hughes
My Thoughts: Terrell & Terence Hughes got in some decent moves in this match, usually against Solow, but you just knew that Marshall was Not going to lose this one, even if...
