Dhanush and Akshara shared a karmic connection with Amitabh Bachchan during the shooting of R Balki's Shamitabh. The two Tamil actors' 'Rajinikanth' and 'Kamal Haasan' connection immediately stuck a bond with Big B who told the two youngsters to 'chill' in his presence. Tamil star Dhanush and debutante Akshara Haasan's bonding with Big B during the shooting of Shamitabh is the stuff legends are made of. Initially the two youngsters were awestruck and speechless. But in no time they were bonding like buddies. "As usual," says a source from the sets. "This is the way Amitabh Bachchan likes it with his co-stars. Sadly a lot of them do not respond to Big B's request for camaraderie because of their inherent fear of acting too familiar with the legend." For the next one month, filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia turns into an actor completely. He will be shooting for two acting projects every day. Films that gained a ‘cult following’ over the years, despite being unnoticed on release
Silsila
Yash Chopra is looked upon as the grandfather of candyfloss romance, an antithesis to the more ‘artistic’ genre of films. One wonders why. Here’s what his early films were about:
Unwed mothers and illegitimate children – Dhool ka Phool (1959)
Partition and the rise of Hindu fundamentalism – Dharmputra (1961)
Taut, song less thriller about a fugitive, a lone woman and a corpse – Ittefaq (1969)
A man who lives with his wife and the ‘other woman’, Hindi Cinema’s first Ménage à trois- Daag (1973)
In 1981, we had another of his equally risqué works, Silsila. Expectedly, sparks flew when the Screen God of the time shared screen space with the reigning diva. Rekha and Amitabh were quite an item on screen and allegedly, off screen too. The grapevine has it that Chopra was inspired to make Silsila on this relationship...

If all goes well, the concluding part of the Sarkar saga would hit the floors in October, 2012. The initial feeler that Sarkar 3 was on the cards was let out by Ramu himself on the sets of Bhoot 2 in Pali Hill, Bandra where he announced, “Sarkar 3 will go on floors this October. The script is almost ready.”
Speculations were rife about the Bachchan bahu making a comeback into films with this last installment of the Sarkar trilogy, which is believed to be Ram Gopal Varma’s tribute to Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather series. Ash, who was on a sabbatical during her maternity was rumored to make her grand comeback with Sarkar 3. The buzz is now out that Ash might return to Hindi cinema with either King Khan or John Abraham in the movie Happy Birthday. It was also heard that she might be doing Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani with Srk.

His coming film of director Karan Malhotra “Agneepath” is about to be released while the entire industry is anxiously waiting for his performance in the film. Matter of fact it is a remake of the super hit of Big B.
As recorded, Amitabh gave a scorching super hit performance in Agneepath. It is really a courageous effort to run behind such a movie. However, it seems that Hritik Roshan as well as Sanjay Dutt both are quite hopeful about the success of their film.
To the news media, both the actors appreciated about Karan Malhotra to dig out their best acting from them. Incidentally, Hrithik remembered the film of Jodhha Akbar where he was told by Karan Malhotra to re-dub some scenes as he felt it was not in order. However, Hrithik was reluctant and...

From He-Man to funny man, from flamboyant to sombre - Bollywood.s top notch actors have shone on the silver screen in various avatars and also kept the cash registers ringing. Ians lists the top 10 actors of the year:1) Salman Khan - He should be titled hit khan. In both, neither the content was premium, nor were the performances superlative, but what helped the actor stand out were the big bucks his films yielded at the box office, strengthening his position as a bankable star.2) Aamir Khan: What one missed in Salman Khan.s films was prominently present in Aamir Khan-starrer .Dhobi Ghat.. Aamir wowed his fans as a lonely painter in the directorial debut of his wife Kiran Rao, who deftly handled a bouquet of stories,...

He’s been dubbed the new “serial kisser” in Bollywood. Ranveer Singh is playing the protagonist in Yash Raj Films’ next release, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, and his character is a Casanova and quite a professional one at that, so it’s no wonder that the reputation has rubbed off on him a little too. This “serial kisser” tag came about after the one-film-old actor was arguably over-courteous with female fans during the music launch of Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl. It is thought he was particularly adhering to requests for kisses from his clearly increasing female fanbase.
Recently, during the final week of the popular Amitabh Bachchan hosted gameshow Kaun Banega Crorepati, Ranveer (with co-star Anushka Sharma in tow) wowed the audiences and Bachchan sahib himself by reciting the “mere paas Maa hai” dialogue from Bachchan’s yesteryear film, Deewaar. His charms, it seems, don’t just stop at the women.
