Halloween is a time when regular folk allow themselves to see the world as us horror lovers do – weird and wonderful, sinister mischief with tongue in cheek under (and over) tones. They watch that scary movie they’ve been meaning to get to for the past year, string up skeletons, and parade around at office parties in the latest ironic costumes (expect tons of Trumps and Weiners this year). But for the fearful faithful, this is our workaday; we watch the films daily, display our rooms with terror trinkets, and dress up as our favourite icons at constant conventions around the globe. So what separates the actual day of Halloween from our normal routine? TV viewing, of course.
‘Tis the season when every station trots out horror programming, sometimes for weeks on end leading up to and including the big night. A lot of this is for Johnny and Jane...

Charles Keating IV, the U.S. Navy Seal killed during an Isis gunfight on Tuesday, secretly eloped with fiancée Brooke Clark before he left home, the Navy tells People. "He got married before he deployed," Lt. Beth Teach, a Navy spokeswoman, confirms. Although the couple planned an official wedding in November, and sent invitations to friends and family, Keating - the grandson of notorious financier Charles Keating Jr. - took steps to make sure he was married before going into harm's way, friends tell People. "He wanted to protect her in case anything happened to him," says a fellow Seal.

Manhattan, Season 2, Episode 5, “The World of Tomorrow”
Written by Mark Lafferty
Directed by Daniel Stern
Airs Tuesdays at 9pm (Et) on Wgn
How do you solve a problem like Frank Winter? If you’re Colonel Darrow, you make him your secret insurance policy for a bomb program run by a mercurial genius and an inexperienced wunderkind. If you’re the writers of Manhattan, you let him slink back onto the Hill, neatly tie up some plot threads, and yank the whole story forward six months as happens in “The World of Tomorrow,” which serves as an unofficial midseason finale.
The episode, directed by Daniel Stern, begins right where “Overlord” ended—Frank telling Charlie that the Germans don’t have a bomb—and then jumps ahead to New Year’s Eve 1944, using newly spiffed up reporter Woodrow Lorentzen as a device to explain how they got there. Using interviews to move...

Charlie Sheen went on a rant early Thursday Am, this time apparently mocking "Two and a Half Men" ... and it seems like it all has to do with drama surrounding the final episode. In a bizarre, hard-to-understand diatribe, Charlie seemed to use his former show's theme song to express his displeasure:men men menmen - men me suck, gotta suk me more men before they suk me more menIt's impossible to figure out exactly what he's...

We’re still talking about the final moments of last week’s episode of "How to Get Away with Murder."In the closing scene, Annalise (played by Viola Davis) confronted her husband, Sam (Tom Verica), with these nine words, "Why is your penis on a dead girl’s phone?" And now, toofab has some answers from one of the show's leading men, Charlie Weber. "[Sam] definitely has become a prime suspect in regards to [dead college girl] Lila," he told toofab's Rachel Hoffman. "He’s a suspect. But, I actually have no idea who killed Lila!" Weber plays Frank Delfino, a street smart associate attorney who's ready to do Annalise’s dirty work at every turn. It's the character's bad boy persona that initially drew Charlie to the role."He’s this street guy made good. I really like how he carried himself in the script," he revealed. "It seemed like he had endless possibilities.

From Michael Jackson to Patrick Swayze to … Alfonso Ribeiro?
Eight-year-old Charlie has already impressively tackled some of the most iconic dance numbers of all time, but he has always been a solo act – until now.
That all changed Thursday when Charlie met Dancing with the Stars contestant Ribeiro and his pro-dancer partner Witney Carson backstage at a taping of The Queen Latifah Show.
"Charlie was so excited to meet them," an onlooker tells People. "His mom had shown him The Carlton dance before so he was beside himself when he saw [Alfonso] in real life."

Kriv Stenders is not a filmmaker whose name I knew before this, but "Kill Me Three Times" suggests he has both a slick sense of style and a wicked nasty sense of humor. The film stars Simon Pegg as a slimy hitman named Charlie Wolfe, and it is a sort of sun-drenched round robin of terrible people doing terrible things to one another to largely charming effect. The script by James McFarland fractures the story into three overlapping chunks of time, doubling back on itself to illuminate why people are behaving certain ways, but it's actually a fairly simple story once it becomes untangled. Someone hires Charlie to kill someone else, and that someone may not be on the level. Charlie may not be on the level, either. Basically, it is a movie of double and triple crosses in which pretty much everyone deserves what they get, all set in...

Anna Paquin took her twins, Poppy and Charlie, out for a stroll in NYC's East Village yesterday. While they are still young, it looks like Poppy and Charlie may soon be giving another set of famous twins, Sarah's Jessica Parker's daughters Tabitha and Loretta, a run for their money in the clothing-coordinating department as they wore similar striped hoodies. While Anna has been tending to her little ones, her husband and True Blood costar, Stephen Moyer, has been busy with projects of his own. The actor recently traveled to Florida to launch the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival earlier this month. Moyer was there to screen Free Ride, a film that he produced and also stars Anna as a young mother who turns to selling drugs.

Charlie may not be who you had in mind to play Christian in the film adaptation of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey.’ He may not have even been on your radar for the role! But maybe once you get to know him, you’ll see that he’s a pretty good fit for the sexy part.
Either you know Charlie Hunnam, 33, as the motorcycle-driving badass in Sons of Anarchy, or you don’t know him at all. But we’re here to help. Though Charlie may bring good looks and a ridiculously ripped body to the role of Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey, there’s much more to him than just a pretty face.
Charlie Hunnam: Meet The New Christian Grey
1. He Knows How To Play A Bad Boy
Like we said, Charlie’s best known for his role as Jax Teller in FX’s show Sons of Anarchy.

"Girls" fans still know next to nothing about what's to come in Season 3.
Yes, Christopher Abbott (Charlie) is gone due to "creative differences," and the upcoming will see the return of Elijah (Andrew Rannells) and new guest stars Felicity Jones, Michael Zegen, Jennifer Westfeldt, Gabby Hoffmann, Sarah Steele and Melonie Diaz.
Oh, and Season 3 will also see the girls come into some "financial stability," if "Girls" executive producer Jenni Konner's tease-y interview is any indication. But when writer/producer Judd Apatow and series creator Lena Dunham answered "Girls" questions on Twitter for iTunes TV, fans learned a few more things.
Charlie may be the next Don Draper, according to Apatow.
@Olif @iTunesTV @lenadunham I think Charlie went to Korea and switched identities with a deceased soldier named Don Draper. #askgirls

Ray (Alex Karpovksy) will get some serious action this season, according to Dunham.

It’s extremely hard to make a movie where almost nothing happens and still have an interesting and entertaining result. Director David Jacobson clearly didn’t know just how difficult of a task this is when he was making Tomorrow You’re Gone, as his final result shows nothing happening in a very bland film.
Charlie Rankin (Stephen Dorff) is out of prison, but still indebted to a man who supposedly saved his life behind bars (Willem Dafoe). Charlie’s first task to make things even is to carry out a murder, but things are complicated when he meets a woman named Florence (Michelle Monaghan), who instantly falls for him and tries to pry the good out of his tough exterior.
It isn’t as if this is a film where the filmmaker finds the characters much more interesting than the audience does and that is the cause of the dull moments,...

After reading Becca's first attempt at a novel, Hank tried to delicately express his thoughts, but what came out was more like a parental Code Red.
The truth was not easy to hear, but Becca took it. When Hank's script was weighed and measured, it too was found wanting, yet the literary lion was not exactly prepared to handle the truth. "Everybody's a F. Critic" showed even the most celebrated of authors can pen a piece of garbage. What followed was an interesting look at how Hank dealt with such a bold faced rejection.
At first I thought Karen had asked Charlie and the others to be critical of Hank's script, so as to give him a taste of his own medicine. I was happy to be wrong, though, as it was interesting to watch Hank struggle with the creative process and humbly ask for Becca's help at the end of the episode.

A spoiler-y new photo gives ‘Teen Wolf’ fans two more very good reasons to tune in to season three.
Colton Haynes may not be returning to Teen Wolf for its upcoming third season, but fear not, there will still be tons of shirtless werewolves running amuck in Beacon Hills. In fact, there will be twice as many thanks to twins Max and Charlie Carver, who make their half-naked debut in this just-released shot from MTV.
But don’t be fooled: though Max and Charlie may look good, their characters won’t necessarily follow suit. (Still, you’ve got to admit, the brilliant minds at Teen Wolf definitely know how to make their audience happy.)
Who Are These New Twins?
News broke in Nov. 2012 that Max and Charlie — who starred as the grown-up versions of Lynette’s twins on Desperate Housewives — would be joining Teen Wolf‘s third season as twin werewolves Ethan and Aiden.

This week on Californication, both fresh out of rehab, Hank and Robbie Mac meet to discuss a potential project, one with which Hank cannot get on board at the outset of "Hell Bent for Leather."
Charlie, meanwhile, was happy to have his best friend back - but didn't like the sound of Hank's plans.
The whole reason any of us know Hank Moody is because the man has a gift for the written word. Because he has strayed from his wheelhouse, his life has been a tumult. So it was very interesting to see Charlie almost enabling Hank, pushing him toward another project like those which have only caused him grief. Hank may have his drinking under control, but he needs to listen to his heart and get back to doing what he does best.
I think he got a glimpse of just that this week when he caught the tail end of Becca's reading.

Charlie may be a the strong, silent type, but the "Perks of Being a Wallflower" protagonist knows a thing or two about style... and we're not just talking about his ability to write letters to an unknown friend.
Logan Lerman's character knows the finer points of wearing a suit, while his more outgoing friends, played by Ezra Miller, Emma Watson and Mae Whitman rock some decidedly looks ranging from punk rock to totally preppy. And, despite the fact that the film takes place in the early 1990s, the fashions of the film — like the themes — still totally translate.

Charlie Hunnam, Jax in FX’s Sons of Anarchy, is going to take an award show by storm. He’ll do it in his time and on his terms, though. The Emmys can come to him.
Or, as he put it in a recent interview, “Fuck the Emmys.”
The Samcro Vice President says this with more than the confidence of youth on his side. He has a sterling silver filmography – a chain of high-value supporting parts in award-rich films.
The odds that such roles will keep coming when you look close enough to detect a trend. Hunnam plays characters that step from the shadows to steal the spotlight: Subtle psychos, sociopaths, suicides – Charlie may strike audiences as standard-issue Hollywood handsome at first glance, but by a couple scenes in, he’s channeling low-volume, high-voltage crazy.
Trace that lineage through his film credits and you figure an award statue is only a matter of time.

But it's back, and hopefully better than ever... so read through and enjoy, any feedback on layout, shows you want to see represented or comments are welcome!

Regrettably, the studio behind Two and a Half Men had no comment about a report suggesting that Charlie Harper — a.k.a. the hedonistic character played by Charlie Sheen — will be killed off in the premiere episode of the CBS comedy this fall to make way for the introduction of Ashton Kutcher. (Specifically, Charlie may drive his car off of a cliff.)
Though TMZ hedges that the “first script isn’t locked” and that creator Chuck Lorre “often makes changes until close to taping,” it’s entirely possible that Men will want to wipe the slate clean. Nothing says good...

Charlie Sheen didnt' get what he wanted from the judge in his " Two and a Half Men " lawsuit against Warner Bros. , because a judge would not rule that he's entitled to a public court trial. But Charlie may get a second bite of the apple. Charlie is suing Warner Bros. for $100,000,000 claiming the studio had no right to 86 him from the show. Charlie wanted the judge to rule the arbitration clause in his contract --...

Unresolved plot threads? Sounds like a problem for someone who gives a crap! Laurence Fishburne is leaving CSI, according to Deadline, despite the opportunity to renew his contract. The Matrix actor joined the cast in 2008, following the departure of long time lead William Petersen. Fishburne has two high profile movies, Thurgood and Contagion, planned for release this year. Coincidentally, Law & Order Svu lead Christopher Meloni also decided to not to return to his hit crime procedural for the 2011-2012 season.
While the site’s source doesn’t sound shocked, “nobody expected him to be on the show for 7 years, it’s Laurence Fishburne,” they obviously didn’t see it coming when they filmed last season’s finale, in which his character murders a serial killer in cold blood. Apparently any resolution to that plot will have to happen off screen, presumably with his Ray Langston being sent to the slammer unseen.

If you were among the proud who watched the few post-meltdown episodes of Two And A Half Men last season, you may remember that Charlie Sheen’s last scene involved him leaving for a plane to Paris. According to TMZ, while the producers didn’t plan to make his trip a key plot point, they’re happy to use it now that Sheen has been fired from the show and replaced by Ashton Kutcher. Apparently they didn’t cotton to Sheen’s “suicide” suggestion.

The Upper East side is going through a small casting shake up. In Season 4 Gossip Girl waved goodbye to Jenny Humphrey, played by Taylor Momsen. The actor decided to leave the series to pursue her career as a musician. Now, it looks like Little Jenny will be replaced by Serena’s (Blake Lively) manipulative cousin Charlie, played by Kaylee DeFer.
The Wall Street Journal reported that today that DeFer has been added on as a series regular in Gossip Girl Season 5. So, while DeFer’s character Charlie may have failed in her first attempt to land Dan (Penn Badgley), by asking Dan to call her Serena before sex, Charlie will have another chance in Season 5.
Szhor will also be leaving the cast as a series regular. Similar to Momsen, she may appear for special episodes but will no longer be one of the day-to-day East-siders.

Whether you call her porn star Bree Olson or Charlie Sheen “goddess” Rachel Oberlin, one thing you can’t call this lady is prison-bound. According to TMZ, Olson pleaded guilty to that pesky DUI from last February, allegedly getting off with community service and a year of unsupervised probation after scoring a deal with the Da. Her departures from Charlie’s Violent Torpedo Of Truth tour have been consistently linked to her legal woes in Indiana, though Charlie claimed Bree finally left him for good via text.
There’s been no word on whether Olson will return to porn—she said she was retired for as long as she was with Sheen, but only as long as—or whether a reunion with Charlie may be in cards (her rep says they’re “still in touch”). Then again, there’s always option three: cash in on her former goddess status with a tell-all.

Watch out, Serena (Blake Lively). There's a new blond coming to the Upper East Side and something tells us she's about to stir things up in a big way.
Kaylee DeFer makes her "Gossip Girl" debut on tonight's (Apr. 18) episode, "The Kids Stay in the Picture," as Serena's cousin from Florida, Charlie. After watching the first two episodes back, Zap2it couldn't miss the opportunity to hang out with DeFer backstage at the Ktla Morning Show.
"Charlie has a very difficult relationship with her mother, whose played by Sheila Kelley, and my whole life my mom told me that the Van Der Woodsens are these horrible people," DeFer says of Charlie's first appearance on the Ues. "When I find out that my mom gets asked to come and be a part of this family photo shoot, I decide I want to come and find out for myself what it's all about.

Turns out America may not be as excited to see Charlie Sheen rant on stage for 70-minutes as originally thought. Despite word of early sell-outs for his upcoming tour, CNBC says scalpers are selling Sheen tickets for less than face value. Could it be that watching the sitcom actor’s public meltdown was a less than committed interest for Joe Average? Whether it’s because people no longer think they’ll see the seemingly calming Sheen implode—or they don’t actually want to be there when he does—it’s possible that America’s love affair with tiger blood may be fading fast.
One person who does still care about Charlie is Vanilla Ice, who suggested Sheen sign up for England’s Dancing On Ice, on which ‘Nilla placed 7th. “Charlie Sheen on Dancing on Ice would be great—it would lick him into shape. Charlie doesn’t know his purpose.

Charlie may have just been let go from his show, but insiders say the producers want it to go on—with Charlie as the star!
Cast members on Two and a Half Men are being told to remain “on hold” for shooting—because execs want the sitcom to come back with Charlie Sheen at the helm!
Sources tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively the show is making too much money for all parties involved for it to be cancelled, so CBS and Warner Bros. termination of his contract is only a tactical maneuver to get Charlie back!
Behind the scenes, parties are still trying to figure out how the cast will be compensated for this shortened season.
Let’s be honest — Two and a Half Men can’t function without Charlie on the cast, and the show makes So Much money for everyone involved. No matter how crazy Charlie gets, he is irreplaceable!

Charlie’s crazy rants and mood swings in his wild string of TV interviews make everyone wonder if he’s mentally unstable. Experts tell us what they think is going on inside his troubled mind. And they say he needs help now!
What’s going on in Charlie Sheen’s head that’s causing him to act out so much? Experts think that Charlie may be experiencing a manic episode – which signifies that he may have an underlying psychological issue like bipolar disorder.
“I believe without examining him, that he seems to be having some sort acute manic episode,” Dr. Jeff Gardere, a New York psychologist and contributor to Healthguru.com, tells HollywoodLife.com. “It means that there may be some sort of bipolar disorder and that he’s in the manic stage.”

Chuck Lorre just posted an existential statement on his website with a vanity card from tonight's episode of " Mike and Molly " -- and if we're reading it correctly, it sounds like " Two and a Half Men " is over and out. Lorre says, "I believe that consciousness creates the illusion of individualism, the false feeling of being separate." Translation : Charlie may...

Charlie may be out, but the show could still be a hit if producers follow our great advice!
After news of Charlie Sheen’s potential lawsuit against CBS for $320 million, something tells us his days on Two and a Half Men might be numbered. As a social service, HollywoodLife.com offers our humble suggestions of who could replace Charlie, 45, as a lead on the show!
Jason Bateman — This mild-mannered funnyman, 42, displayed his acerbic wit on the much-loved and little-seen Arrested Development, so Men would be a great venue for him to get in front of a large audience.
David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry or Matt LeBlanc — Even through the latter two are currently anchoring their own sitcoms (Mr. Sunshine and Episodes, respectively), we’re sure they all crave the kind of success they had during Friends. And someone just needs to give Ross Geller some acting work!
John Stamos — Even though John,...

We talked to Pax Prentiss, founder and director of Passages Malibu Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center, about Charlie Sheen’s current condition. And it’s official, Charlie Sheen is insane. “Charlie may be in denial. He has said he is not going to use cocaine again. Well, let's see if he can keep that promise over the next 12 months. I hope that he does stay sober. I want desperately for Charlie Sheen to save his life,” Prentiss tells Hollyscoop exclusively. But I thought Charlie mind-cured himself at Sober Valley Lodge. America has a love hate relationship with Charlie Sheen. We hate him for being a druggy loser and apparently we love him because his show Two and a Half Men is kicking ass in ratings. But his Mulholland Estate neighbors are definitely on the 'I Hate Charlie' wagon and they want his drunk ass out of their community. “Charlie may be a big TV star, but he’s not the type of neighbor we want here,” one angry fellow resident told the National Enquirer. “We’re all sick and tired of the stream of people coming and going from his...

.My mom said that there was more money in running whores than being one.. Love Ranch tells the tale of legalized prostitution in Nevada, but instead of focusing on the titillating aspects of it, the film looks behind the scenes at the misters and madams running the joint. Such is the tale of Grace and Charlie Bontempo. Charlie Bontempo (Joe Pesci) is the owner of the Love Ranch, a legalized brothel in the deserts of Nevada. Charlie may act the big man but it.s really his wife Grace (Helen Mirren) who keeps the hooker home fires burning by being a surrogate material figure to the girls (Bai Ling, Taryn Manning, Gina Gershon) who do the work. It looks like Charlie may be looking at a pricey lawsuit from the woman he spent the night with during his now infamous night at The Plaza — perhaps in response to her not getting paid her reported $12,000!
While it looks like officials may not be pressing charges against Charlie Sheen for his actions in the early morning hours of Oct. 26, his female companion at the time, porn star Capri Anderson, plans on suing the actor! Sources close to Capri tell TMZ, “she believes Charlie was acting so crazy in his hotel room at The Plaza Hotel on Tuesday morning — that she felt her life was in danger … and she also felt like she was being held in the room against her will.” Looks like Charlie is going to have to get out that checkbook.

Persons Unknown, how I have missed you. This is a show that really suffers from being pre-empted, because it relies on paying attention, and how much do you remember from two weeks ago? I don’t know about you, but I had to rewatch “Static” before I tuned in tonight just to jog my memory. Still, it’s good to have my favorite summer show back, even if I didn’t appreciate it opening with a huge ad for The Event over a third of my screen. That felt a little bit like a slap in the face. I want to enjoy my show, not be reminded that NBC is already moving past it. (Remember that episode eleven, “Seven Sacrifices,” will not air and is only available on NBC.com or Hulu.com. And you’d better watch it quick, because the last two episodes will air back-to-back next week...

Charlie Sheen returned to the set of his CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men on March 16 after spending two weeks in rehab for “preventative measures,” but is it too soon? Beverly Hills-based addiction expert Marty Brenner says given the actor’s rocky past with addiction, Charlie may have moved too quickly.

Do you think it’s wise for the couple to move on so quickly?
It looks like Charlie Sheen, 44, and wife Brooke Mueller, 32, are ready to put this whole nightmare behind them. The Pitkin County Department of Social Services has reportedly done a thorough investigation and determined the couple’s children aren’t in danger by living with them, according to TMZ. Brooke reportedly wants to move back into Charlie’s La home with their twin boys, Max and Bob, so they can resume their lives together. So what’s the only thing standing in their way?
The prosecutor in the ongoing case against Charlie reportedly wants a public Aspen agency to monitor Brooke and ensure her safety — but that isn’t sitting well with Brooke. She’d rather not have anyone watching her, fearing that it would only lead to more personal info. about the couple being released to the media.

Charlie Runkle... what are you doing my friend? After last weeks daring rescue of estranged wife, Marcy, from the clutches of Rick Springfield, I continue to wonder what will the future hold for everyone's favorite baldheaded agent. Now that Rick Springfield is out of the picture (he's probably still searching for more coke in the crevices of his trailer) Charlie's job may be on the line. I'd definitely be sad to see him leave Sue Collini's agency; I just couldn't bear to see Kathleen Turner go. Tom Kapinos must be having a ball developing separation anxiety disorders in the hearts of fans. We lost Lew Ashby at the end of season 2. And, if Charlie gets fired, that's bye bye Collini. Maybe, they writers can do something creative to keep her around. Because Kathleen just makes this season 'oh so good.' On the home front, Charlie may have saved Marcy...

Thursday's Project Runway brought the bridal wear -- with a twist. The women in wedding dresses standing before the nine remaining designers weren't brides to be: They were divorcees looking to convert their gowns into hip outfits they could wear in the "next chapter of their lives," as Heidi Klum put it. So, the contestants picked their clients off the runway, collaborated with them on a design and got sewing. Splitting Up: As partners go, Shirin and her client Charlie skipped the honeymoon stage, clashing over concept, taste level and basically everything during their consultation. The usually sunny Shirin was out-perked by her client, a performer, who begged for an over-the-top costume a la Cher's "Half-Breed" look, including that headdress. Shirin wisely knew that if she created the feathery fantasy, she'd be auf'd faster than she could say "Bob Mackie." Worse, the designer only had a simple polyester dress to work with.
