Universal Pictures announced this morning that Fast X, the tenth main installment in its long-running action saga Fast & Furious, will head to Peacock September 15th following a theatrical run that kicked off in May.
Coming to the platform the same day are three other installments: Fast and Furious 6, Fate of the Furious, and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. And then, there’s Furious 7, which will be available for streaming there starting October 1st.
Fast X again reunites us with globe-trotting street racer Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew, who, ever since their saga started on the streets of L.A.’s underground racing scene, have overcome impossible odds to outsmart, out-nerve and outdrive every foe. Yet when the team took down a nefarious kingpin back in Brazil, they had no idea his son Dante (Jason Momoa) was watching from the shadows. More lethal than any other enemy they’ve faced,...

Who is Dante? A man obsessed with revenge who will do whatever it takes to destroy Dom and his family in Fast X. The new three-minute featurette focuses on Jason Momoa’s approach to playing a villain, something he hasn’t done in a decade, and his joy at joining the Fast and Furious franchise.
Returning franchise stars include Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, and Nathalie Emmanuel. Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena, Scott Eastwood, Oscar winner Helen Mirren, and Oscar winner Charlize Theron also reprise their roles for the 10th film of the saga.
Newbies to the F&f include Oscar winner Brie Larson as Tess, a rogue representative from the Agency; Alan Richtson (Reacher) as Aimes, the new head of the Agency who doesn’t hold the same fondness for Dom’s crew as his predecessor, Mr. Nobody; Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad...

For as long as "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" has been a thing, villain Doomsday has been rumored to appear in the upcoming movie. As early as last December, word first surfaced about Doomsday showing up in the "Man Of Steel" sequel, and not long after, one of the roles Jason Momoa was potentially linked to (along with Martian Manhunter), was that of Superman's arch nemesis (the actor eventually signed on to play Aquaman). And now, word about Doomsday is cropping up again. Bleeding Cool are reporting that according to their source, the character has appeared in designs for the film, and that's about it. And that would add yet another character the already kinda stuffed movie that features Lex Luthor, and according to recent reports will toss in Victor Szasz, Morgan Edge, David Cain and Amanda Waller in various capacities as well. How many more people do you need in this?...

It’s getting a bit difficult to keep up with all of the villain and hero appearances rumored for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, especially with that fake script floating around. Before we jump into the latest rumor to hit the web though, let’s run down what we officially know.
The likes of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are all guaranteed to appear and have been cast. Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg will also have a small cameo, played by Ray Fisher, that will set him up for a future Justice League appearance. Then there’s Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and returning Man of Steel cast members Amy Adams and Laurence Fishburne.
That’s it. Now, as far as rumors go, there have been plenty. We’re pretty sure Aquaman will have a small cameo as well, and that he’ll be played by Jason Momoa,...

According to a new report from the Batman News camp and their sources, it turns out that a fake movie script might have been deliberately leaked by Warner Bros. Pictures to throw all the news sites off the trail of what director, Zack Snyder, really has in mind for the film. They claim that the recent reports of three new villains: Victor Zsasz, Morgan Edge, and David Cain were apart of this possible fake script, leaving behind a trail of doubt that they'll actually be featured in the film. If that weren't enough, there are other reports, claiming Warner Bros hired director and comic book geek ,Kevin Smith, to actually write an entire fake Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice script, and that this fake script is purposely being leaked to keep everyone from knowing what's really going on. Again, these are all rumors and claims. Nothing is officially confirmed nor denied,...

We all know that Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) will have their hands full with Lex Luthor in 2016′s Dawn of Justice, but now four more characters have been revealed who will potentially be causing problems for the World’s Finest Team if they can put their differences aside long enough to take them down!
According to Latino-Review, four more bad guys will have a presence in the Zack Snyder helmed movie, though The Joker and iconic Superman baddie Metallo won’t be among them, despite recent rumours.
First up is Victor Zsazs, a member of Batman’s rogues gallery and an insane serial killer who marks his own body each time he takes a life. He’s covered in scars, and it’s easy to imagine him playing a minor role in Batman V Superman as we see the Caped Crusader take him down near the start of the movie!

If the latest reports are to be believed, then the villains are piling up for Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel follow-up...
News
We're in speculation territory here, so as always, we recommend a little bit of salt. Yet intriguing rumours have come through that suggest Zack Snyder's now-filming Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will have numerous villains to go with its numerous heroes.
Before we get to the detail, we suspect that if we do get multiple villains, it may be introducing some for reappearance in Justice League and beyond. Yet Latino Review is now suggesting that on top of Lex Luthor, Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will find room for serial killer Victor Zsazs, Lex Luthor's spokesman Morgan Edge, fiftysomething assassin David Cain, and Senator Amanda Waller.
Amanda Waller was a character who appeared in Green Lantern incidentally, and was played by Angela Bassett there.

With Batman v. Superman already boasting a host of heroes, it makes sense that should be plenty of villains to counter balance them, with Latino Review reporting there will be as many as four antagonists lining up alongside Lex Luthor. First up will apparently be Gotham villain, Victor Zsaz, the knife-wielding mass-murderer who carves a scar on his body for each of his victims. Nice chap. He'll also be joined by Luthor underling Morgan Edge, and David Cain, a fiftysomething assassin who also finds himself in Luthor's employ. No...

According to new report from Batman News and their sources, three new villains for the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" super hero/action flick, have been revealed. It turns out that we're going to see villains: Victor Zsasz, Morgan Edge, and David Cain. Victor is described as being a serial killer that Batman fights early on in Gotham City. He usually kills with just a knife and carves a tally mark somewhere on himself for every victim. He also made a brief appearance in Batman Begins. Next up, is: Morgan Edge, who's described as being a total slimeball and a public relations exec for Lexcorp. Basically, he’s Lex Luthor’s spokesman. We'll see Edge early on when he goes toe to toe with Lois Lane in a television talk show. In the movie’s backstory, Edge and Luthor were members of the most notorious gangs ever to...

Thanks to our friends at Latino-Review, we've got some new information on Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The site reveals that there will be three additional villains introduced in the movie, and that they are lesser known characters. There's no information on how big of a part these characters will play, but if you don't want to know who they are then I suggest you stop reading now. You clicked through to read the post though, so you knew what you were getting yourself into!
The villains include:
Victor Zsasz - He is a serial killer that Batman fights early on in Gotham City. He's a brutal killer with a knife and he carves a tally mark somewhere on himself for every victim. He's a really jacked up individual.
Morgan Edge - This guy is a public relations exwcutive for Lexcorp and a real douchebag. He's basically Lex Luthor's mouth piece.

This morning Warner Bros. released the first look picture of Henry Cavill as Superman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and given the nature of the picture it would only stand to assume the next first look we get will be of Ben Affleck as Batman on an opposite rainy rooftop staring back at Superman. However, in a new piece at USA Today, director Zack Snyder doesn't necessarily want the film to be considered a "versus" type movie. "Suffice it to say there is a 'v' in between their names in the movie's title, Snyder says, "to keep it from being a straight 'versus' movie, even in the most subtle way." See and here I was thinking it was merely because other social media names such as @BatmanvsSuperman were already taken while @BatmanvSuperman was readily available. The USA Today article reiterates how we aren't getting a Batman origin story,...

The big Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice news item of the day may be the first official photo of Henry Cavill in Supes’ red cape and blue spandex, but late last night an intriguing rumor dropped that shouldn’t be ignored. According to Latino Review, Lex Luthor won’t be the only one causing trouble for the titular duo. In fact, he will be joined by four other DC villains.
The report names Victor Zsazs, Amanda Waller, Morgan Edge and David Cain as the four additional villains, and also says that rumors surrounding appearances from iconic villains like Metallo and The Joker are completely unfounded, so don’t expect to see the man with a Kryptonite heart or the Clown Prince of Crime onscreen anytime soon.

We already know about several of the heroes, now comes word that four nasty characters from the DC universe may also be making an appearance in Zack Snyder's upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice".

According to their sources, the serial killer Zsasz will fight with Affleck's Batman in an early Gotham City-set scene. The use of villains in Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice is significant. On one hand, you've got to feature a major threat or two in order to excite audiences who, otherwise, are skeptical of the superhero team-up. But you also want to hold back some surprises: DC's villains bench is not deep, and you have to save some spectacle for 2017's alleged Justice League. So exactly which baddies are facing off against the duo? Latino Review claims the scoopage here, revealing three more villains that torment our heroes in addition to Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. And, to be fair, they'll test the awareness of pop culture denizens all over the net, given that they're not exactly household names. As Peter Jackson's second Hobbit film is released in cinemas, Andrew looks back on the 1968 BBC Radio 4 adaptation...
Somewhere in the sidestreets of Hereford is, or was, a bookshop that is indelibly labyrinthine in my memory, with nooks and crannies (yes) in every direction filled with shelves, platforms, steps and ladders. I have an inkling that it only sells maps now. When I was a child, it sold all the books, and was the first place I ever saw the cassettes of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit (speaking of Inklings). And, as I pointed out to my parents, we did need something to listen to on the journey back to Glasgow. The Hobbit was cheaper, shorter, and – crucially – not in a cardboard box about a foot long. The cassettes came in reflective gold-coloured card that, I seem to recall, confused the hell out of budgies.

There’s a sort of social stigma attached to tie-ins of any sort, really. There’s something about the idea of an expanded Universe that many argue results in an unavoidable bastardisation of the source material.
Let me just define the term ‘tie-in’ within the context of this article. Tie-ins exist in across all forms of media and in any direction. You’ve got movie to comic book, comic book to movie (more common), movie to game, game to comic book, even comic book to musical album (admittedly rare, but if you listen to Coheed and Cambria, you’ll know what I mean). Some are great; most are unfortunately mediocre, but they exist in abundance, thanks to that twatty business term you may know as ‘synergy’.
I don’t think tie-ins themselves are the issue; when done right, they can provide a wealth of satisfaction, and new depths to an already well-loved character or setting.

Bernardo Bertolucci, London
In his early career, which forms the first half of this two-month retrospective, Bertolucci seems to have lived for danger. He was fascinated by eroticism and politics and the connections between them, which, combined with his fluid visual moves, made his films pulse with life. Even before the scandalous Last Tango In Paris, he'd dealt with fascism, murder, terrorism, incest and other hot potatoes in films like The Conformist, La Luna, The Spider's Stratagem and Before The Revolution. His career went widescreen and international, with the star-studded 1900, Oscar triumph The Last Emperor and so on, but the visual mastery never deserted him.
