Welcome to this review of Aew: Dynamite which emanates from Chicago, home of Cm Punk. We’ve got a bunch of highly anticipated matches on this card and someone very nice, very evil making his second appearance!
Match #1: Jon Moxley def. Wheeler Yuta
My Thoughts: This was a last-minute change to this weeks card after Brian Kendrick was pulled from the show following the controversy that arose on social media regarding his signing. And guess what? Wheeler Yuta pulled one out of the bag and gave a fantastic performance against Moxley. He looked a lot better and he wrestled on another level compared to what we’ve seen before. A brilliant opening match.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Brody King and Malakai Black def. Penta El Zero Miedo and Pac
My Thoughts: If there were ever wrestlers you could say will Always deliver great matches it’s these four guys.

Tag team wrestling is a unique art form, with a much different style and pacing compared to singles competition. Over the years we have seen many legendary teams form and dominate the division. But which of them were best? Here are the top 10 best WWE Tag Team Champions of all time. 10. Paul London & Brian Kendrick Paul London & Brian Kendrick held the WWE Tag Team Championships for almost a year between 2006 and 2007. While an often forgetting team, the two enjoyed huge success as champions, defending the belts against many top teams at the time. 9.

Welcome to this week’s review of 205 Live, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and as a female comedian, I don’t want to be eaten by a f–king polar bear. That’s why I use Jippaney’s Polar Bear Repellent, for the lady who doesn’t want to be eaten by a f–king polar bear. Just spray one pint of Jippaney’s finest on your body and polar bears will avoid you like a priest around the parents of the child they violated. Jippaney’s Polar Bear Repellent: It’s such good s–t. Well, now that we have that out of the way, let’s get to the wrestling.
Match #1: Jake Atlas def. Ashante “Thee” Adonis The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Even several months after his brief rivalry with The Brian Kendrick, Ashante “Thee” Adonis still seems to be employing the veteran’s teachings.

Match #1: Mansoor def. Ashante “Thee” Adonis The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Ashante “Thee” Adonis has seemingly become a more well-rounded and focused competitor ever since he started receiving veteran wisdom from The Brian Kendrick, but he still can’t solve the puzzle that is Mansoor, who remained undefeated on 205 Live and posted his fourth singles victory against Adonis. In an ironic twist, the usually sportsmanship-minded Mansoor, who teamed with Kendrick last week to pick up a win against Ever-Rise, was the one to refuse a pre-match handshake,...

Match #1: Curt Stallion def. Ariya Daivari The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
If you’re hoping to score a victory against either Ariya Daivari or Tony Nese, then you’d better be prepared for a two-on-one fight. Case in point: Curt Stallion was constantly forced to deal with Nese’s meddling during a seesaw battle against Daivari, but the rookie persevered by knocking Nese off the apron with a savage headbutt,...

Match #1: Mansoor def. The Brian Kendrick The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Much to the delight of one Superstar and the dismay of the other, the final bell of 205 Live’s opening match signaled the extension of a pair of streaks, as Mansoor improved to 6-0 while The Brian Kendrick suffered his third consecutive defeat. After absorbing a series of kicks to the head and some trash talk from Kendrick, Mansoor fired back with a jumping clothesline, and an inverted atomic drop into a spinebuster, and three consecutive suplexes to a dazed Kendrick,...

Match #1: Ariya Daivari def. Anthony Greene The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Ariya Daivari kicked off 205 Live with an arrogant strut to the ring, a briefcase in hand and the boisterous proclamation that he had chosen Performance Center recruits Anthony Greene and Curt Stallion to participate in his $10,000 Daivari Dinero Division. Up first, Greene, who commentator Nigel McGuinness described as “a retro rising star straight out of the ’80s,” caught Daivari by surprise by blocking a cheap shot and firing back with a series of stinging strikes to the face. Daivari quickly responded with a back elbow to the jaw and a flurry of right hands and stomps.

Match #1: Mansoor def. Ashante “Thee” Adonis The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The third time’s the charm. At least if you’re Mansoor, who posted his third singles victory in as many matches against Ashante “Thee” Adonis, this time securing the 1-2-3 after fighting his way out of a submission and hitting the Sands of Time. Adonis has received some unsolicited veteran advice from former Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick in recent weeks, and whether or not he took the veteran’s teachings to heart, “Thee” turned in what was probably his best performance.

Match #1: The Brian Kendrick def. Ashante “Thee” Adonis The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Prior to The Most Exciting Hour on Television, Ashante “Thee” Adonis stated his desire for a fresh start, specifically in a singles bout against a 205 Live veteran who could push him to be his best. He partially got what he wanted. Rather than a new opponent, Adonis was once again tasked with the challenge of trying to solve wily former Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick, who defeated Adonis two weeks ago and offered him some advice after their match: “Drop the ego, and you’ll be a star.

Match #1: Ariya Daivari def. Tehuti Miles The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Fanny pack and all, Tehuti Miles was still flashing his one-of-a-kind fashion as he strutted to the ring for his clash with Ariya Daivari on 205 Live. Once the bell rang, however, Miles also showed an improved focus, perhaps heeding the advice of The Brian Kendrick, who last week told Miles, “Drop the ego, and you’ll be a star.” While Daivari talked trash in the early goings, even going so far as to deride Miles as a “piece of trash,” the WWE Performance Center standout allowed his actions to speak for him, as he unleashed a flurry of strikes and twice sent Daivari sailing...

Match #1: The Brian Kendrick def. Tehuti Miles The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Tehuti Miles spent his afternoon crowing about how he wanted some serious competition on 205 Live, specifically a veteran that could bring the best out of him. The WWE Performance Center standout may have got more than he bargained for when former Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick made his jaw-dropping return to the purple brand! Kendrick’s first move upon stepping back into the squared circle? Drawing the ire of Tehuti by booting his fanny pack out of the ring.

Match #1: Joaquin Wilde def. Raul Mendoza The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Following Raul Mendoza’s victory against Joaquin Wilde last week on WWE 205 Live—thus giving them each a victory against one another—the highly competitive rivalry was ripe for a rubber match. As soon as the opening bell sounded, Mendoza charged forward and took down Wilde with a dropkick. Intense and highly aggressive, Mendoza continued to apply pressure to his opponent, preventing the cosmic Superstar from any offense. Match #1: Grizzled Young Veterans def. The Hunt The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After making some disparaging comments at the expense of Wild Boar & Primate two weeks ago, The Grizzled Young Veterans found themselves in an all-out slugfest against The Hunt. Despite the tag team aggression of their animalistic opponents, the first-ever Nxt UK Tag Team Champions rose above and hit Ticket to Mayhem for the three-count.
My Opinion: 3.2 out of 5 – This turned out pretty well.

Match #1: Raul Mendoza def. Joaquin Wilde The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Last month on WWE 205 Live, Joaquin Wilde picked up an impressive victory in only his second appearance on the purple brand by defeating Raul Mendoza. Looking to bounce back, Mendoza battled The Cosmic Superstar once more. Mendoza adopted an unpredictable arsenal, mixing strength with speed, forcing his opponent to the outside before flattening him by rolling through the middle rope and dropping Wilde on the arena floor. Last week on WWE 205 Live, Oney Lorcan made his surprise return to the Cruiserweight division to help his friend Danny Burch fend of The Brian Kendrick and Ariya Daivari. This week, Lorcan returned to competition and teamed with Burch to battle their nemeses in tag team action. Match #1: Tyler Breeze def. Ariya Daivari The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Last week on WWE 205 Live, Ariya Daivari was defeated by the Cruiserweight division’s newest arrival, Tyler Breeze. Not satisfied with the outcome of the match, The Persian Lion had another opportunity to stop Prince Pretty’s momentum in a rematch. As the opening bell sounded, Breeze wasted little time going after Daivari. Although The Gorgeous One enjoyed an early advantage, a melee on the outside of the ring allowed The Persian Lion to mount a flurry of offense. Nevertheless, the competitiveness of both Superstars took precedence and they battled back and forth.

So, as a WWE fan, and seeing as Nerdly has great wrestling coverage, I thought it would be cool to take a seat in the bleachers and give you a longtime fan perspective report on WWE’s roster as we’ve reached – as of writing – August 2019.
This isn’t gospel or fact, obviously. It’s just opinion, and my opinion at that. You might disagree, and that’s fine. Just know that this is purely for fun and to give my thoughts and views on the great roster of talent that WWE has right now. I’ll rate people like a report card would rate people… From A* to F grade… you know what those grades mean. Also, I’ll do a ungraded grade for the men and women that are injured or that we haven’t seen on the product this year. I’ll be taking most things into consideration,...

Welcome to this week’s 205 Live review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have two matches. I’ve been complaining about Ring Of Honor only having two so…damn it. This better be good. I have to get married tomorrow! Okay, it’s cruiser-weight time.
Match #1: Humberto Carrillo def. Angel Garza The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After Humberto Carrillo wished his cousin Angel Garza a happy birthday, Garza took to Twitter to issue a challenge, claiming that Carrillo dishonored their family by failing to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at WWE Clash of Champions. Carrillo accepted the challenge, and the WWE Universe was in for a fast-paced, high-flying family affair. After a dizzying sequence of counters and quick moves from both competitors, Garza stopped his cousin from advancing before removing his paints to reveal his signature ring gear and taking an early advantage.

Match #1: Lince Dorado def. Ariya Daivari The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Despite a losing effort in the Triple Threat Match against Humberto Carrillo and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak at WWE Clash of Champions, Lince Dorado made amends with his Lucha House Party brothers, Kalisto and Gran Metalik, and turned his attention to the very Superstar that tried to break them up, Ariya Daivari. Disappointed that Gentleman Jack Gallagher was unable to compete last week on WWE 205 Live, The Brain Kendrick and Akira Tozawa made an example out of their opponents before telling Gallagher to find a tag team partner upon his return. Match #1: Mike Kanellis def. Tony Nese The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Last week, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese declared he would do anything to win back the title, but he also noted that he might need to make a change since being the “Premier Athlete” was no longer working for him. Mike Kanellis took to Twitter to welcome Nese to “rock bottom,” and the two exchange jabs on social media.

Match #1: (Main Event) Team Lorcan def. Team Gulak – Captain’s Challenge 10-Man Tag Team Elimination Match The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Following a heated altercation after their SummerSlam rematch last week on WWE 205 Live, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak and Oney Lorcan were tasked with each choosing a team of Superstars to battle in a 10-Man Captain’s Challenge Tag Team Elimination Match. Gulak chose Ariya Daivari, Mike Kanellis, Angel Garza and his former friend and rival Tony Nese. Conversely, Lorcan selected Gentleman Jack Gallagher, Humberto Carrillo, Akira Tozawa and Isaiah “Swerve” Scott.
With the two teams staring each other down before the opening bell, a chaotic brawl broke out that left Lorcan’s squad standing tall.

Although Gallagher didn’t win the match, The Brian Kendrick felt Tozawa would have faced Gulak if not for the British Superstar. After Kendrick defeated Sunil Singh several weeks ago, the Bollywood brothers attacked The Man With a Plan, prompting Akira Tozawa to enter the fray. As the rivalry has intensified – and Tozawa & Kendrick have come into possession of the Singhs’ coveted Bollywood Award – Sunil and Samir issued a challenge, which the pair of former WWE Cruiserweight Champions accepted.

Match #1: Akira Tozawa def. Samir Singh The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Last week on WWE 205 Live, The Brian Kendrick claimed victory against Sunil Singh, but Samir jumped in the ring immediately after the bell, and The Singh Brothers attacked The Man with a Plan. Rushing to the aid of his friend and mentor was Akira Tozawa, who helped chase off the Bollywood brothers. Tonight, Tozawa went one-on-one with Samir Singh as Kendrick and Sunil watched from ringside. Match #1: The Brian Kendrick def. Sunil Singh The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Earlier in the evening, The Singh Brothers mockingly presented The Brian Kendrick with a Bollywood Lifetime Achievement Award for his illustrious career. The Man With a Plan didn’t take kindly to The Singhs’ gesture and challenged either of them to a match. Sunil Singh answered the call, and following the opening bell, the Bollywood star tried to lighten the mood by dancing in front of Kendrick. The former Cruiserweight Champion wasn’t in the mood for Singh’s antics and unloaded on his opponent.

Originally scheduled to face Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik, The Singh Brothers made their way to the ring to share their delight that Lars Sullivan attacked The Lucha House Party at WWE Money in the Bank and on Raw. Looking to steal a victory, the brothers turned to the official and wanted a 10-count for a forfeit. However, WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick then informed The Singhs that they would face the duo of Gentleman Jack Gallagher and Humberto Carrillo. Match #1: The Brian Kendrick beat Mike Kanellis (with Maria Kanellis) The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Although Mike Kanellis lost to Kalisto last week on WWE 205 Live, his performance impressed WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick enough to give The Opportunist another chance to prove himself. Once again, Kanellis squared off against a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, The Brian Kendrick. With Maria Kanellis joining commentary, the match got underway with the two Superstars engaged in a showdown of technical prowess. Kanellis grew irate with Kendrick and was forced to recalibrate with encouragement from his wife. As the battle raged to the outside, Kendrick and Kanellis exchanged blows, and The Man with...

Match #1: Kalisto def. Mike Kanellis The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Maria and Mike Kanellis have been pressing WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick to give Mike Kanellis the opportunity to challenge the best the Cruiserweight division has to offer. Maverick obliged and Kanellis stood toe-to-toe with former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kalisto. With Maria joining the commentary team and Kalsito coming off the grueling Fatal 4-Way Match during Royal Rumble Kickoff, Kanellis certainly had the odds stacked in his favor. Kanellis started the match aggressively, going after Kalisto with a show of force, but the lucha dragon was able to recover and shift momentum in his favor. Nevertheless, Kanellis regained his composure and unleashed on his opponent as Maria touted...

Match #1: Hideo Itami def. Noam Dar The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
WWE 205 Live kicked off with an unexpected appearance from Hideo Itami and Ariya Daivari. The duo entered the ring, and Daivari addressed the WWE Universe, demanding they show Itami the respect he deserves. The Persian Lion praised the Japanese legend and declared the episode of WWE 205 Live was cancelled until Itami got real competition. This prompted WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick to take control of the situation, threatening to suspend Itami and Daivari. Noam Dar then made his way to the arena hoping to challenge Itami, and Maverick obliged.

Welcome to this week’s 205 Live review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Christian Bale starring as Dick Cheney. Wait, no we don’t. That was a commercial for Vice. I’m gonna pretend I directed that picture, so if I say “Christian Bale does what I say because I’ll direct his way to the unemployment line if he pisses me off”, then that’s why. Also, I think it’s time for 205 Live, so let’s do the review before I have to get back to the set of Vice. Christian won’t do anything until I arrive on set. The little twit is probably just drooling in his trailer waiting for me.
