Christian Marcussen
- Composer
- Music Department
Christian Marcussen was born in 1980. The first six years of his life
were spent growing up in the UK. His parents, being Danish, decided to
move back to Denmark. He still resides there and calls Copenhagen home.
Christian's avid love for film and motion picture scores sparked his
interest in composing when he was a teenager. Soon after that, he was
composing his own scores, and over the years acquired better equipment,
jobs and skills.
Today Christian composes music for films, animation and more recently computer games. His influences come from a broad array of classical film composers from John Williams to Gabriel Yared. Like his influences, Christian is not bound to one style. His skills range from the heroic brass to subtle and introvert piano.
This year (2004) Christian is scoring the upcoming games TimeSplitters 3 (EA Games) and Second Sight (Codemasters). Apart from that Christian is completing the score for the independent feature film, "Spotless" and is set to score the animated comedy short, "Scottish Ninjas" currently in pre-production.
