Maxwell Dalton
- Actor
Maxwell Scott Dalton
Maxwell Dalton's love of performing began with Destination Imagination in
the 4th grade and continued through the 5th and the 6th grade when their
team The Honey Badgers went to the Regional competition. He was one of
the only 5th graders going into 6th to be cast in a named role in NISD's
summer musical The Lion King.
Max went on to perform the lead role in the following two summer musicals;
Father in Mary Poppins and Bell's Father in Beauty And The Beast. During
his enrollment at Wilson Middle School, he played the dark and provocative
lead role of the Father in The Book of Everything. His 8th-grade year he
performed a powerful King Creon in Antigone, which won the best all-around play at the district competition.
As a Freshman at Byron Nelson, Max kept rolling as Trinculo in The Tempest for which the NISD awarded
him with the Outstanding Supporting Actor Award. He then was again cast
in Beauty and the Beast, this time as Monsieur D'Argue. Maxwell was
scheduled to take a writing/directing class before the virus suspended
classes and was looking forward to student directing the NWISD summer
musical where he gained respect and traction as a passionate young actor.
