With just over thirty years worth of screen time, there are plenty of memorable moments in Grange Hill. From its inception in February 1978 the programme proved both entertaining and controversial. It tackled many difficult subjects head-on: bullying, vandalism, racism, censorship, shop-lifting, school uniform protest, teenage pregnancy and - most famously of all - drugs. However, every now and again it would attempt to give viewers a break from the everyday and head off on a day trip or weekend excursion.

E! Entertainment Television on Monday announced Boulevard of Broken Dreams, a new docu-series from the producers of "The E! True Hollywood Story."
The half-hour series will uncover real-life stories of foul play, heartbreak and untimely death in Hollywood as well as the comeback stories of celebrities who overcame great adversity to get back in the game.
Among those to be featured in the eight-part series are model Niki Taylor and her late sister, Krissy, who also was a model; late actor Chris Penn, younger brother of Sean Penn; late comedian Mitch Hedberg; former teen idol Leif Garrett; author James Frey; and singer Lauryn Hill.
The series, which debuts at 10:30 p.m. Jan. 22, will feature rare videos and new interviews from family members, friends and experts.
"E! has consistently set the bar for excellence in the celebrity documentary genre, and 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' is no exception," said Lisa Berger, executive vp original programming and series development at E! "(The show) delves deep inside the most captivating stories of ill-fated rising stars in a way that no else has."
Dreams is produced by E! Studios and executive produced by Suzanne Ross.
