It took an eight year hiatus, but finally Prison Break has returned to TV! For anyone who has ever listened the Lrm TV Podcast, they would know of my love for the series. I became acquainted with Prison Break after the series had ended, but my then girlfriend now wife, who doesn't watch much TV, told me how great she thought it was. Since then, I have seen the series three times. When I heard it would be returning for a limited run, I began my countdown.
I wasn't sure what to expect with Season 5, but after the first episode, I was not disappointed. The show began with Lincoln Burrows, Michael Scofield's brother, on the run, yet again. I thought that he may have learned the error of his ways since we last saw him, but he was in debt yet again. One of the more subtle,...

August 2005 was a much simpler time: The first iPhone was still two years away from being released, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo was in theaters, and Prison Break debuted on Fox. After two prison escapes, an Ocean’s Eleven-style reset, four seasons, and a TV movie, the hit series signed off in 2009.
Now, with Fox reviving many of its greatest hits (please let Fastlane be next), Michael, Lincoln, Sara, T-Bag, Sucre, and C-Note are back. I know what you’re thinking: “Wait, but didn’t Michael die at the end of Prison Break?...

Harvey and Mike should quit while they're ahead.
On Suits Season 6 Episode 14, the pair devised a plan to get Mike back into the world of law, and I can't help but get the impression they are playing with fire.
Somehow, Harvey feels responsible for getting Mike back to Pearson Specter Litt, but it's probably going to result in more upset down the line.
Mike revealing to Palmer that Pearson Specter Litt was going to be involved in the case should have been the red flag the pair needed to give up on it.
Mike never seems to follow orders. If he does something else to create more waves, he could find himself back behind bars. Sure, it would feel like the show is retreading past storylines, but it's debatable whether there's going to be a happy ending for Mike.
Oliver: Mike, what did these guys do to you?

It’s been seven years since music icon Michael Jackson died. And the singer’s 18-year-old daughter, Paris, says the grief of her father’s death has followed her since.
“They always say, ‘Time heals,’ ” she told Rolling Stone in a revealing new interview for the publication’s latest issue. “But it really doesn’t. You get used to it. I live life with the mentality of ‘Ok, I lost the only thing that has ever been important to me. ‘ ”
She added: “So going forward, anything bad that happens can’t be nearly as bad as what happened before. So I can handle it.

Fox has released a couple new TV spots for two of their highly anticipated series — the Prison Break revival and 24: Legacy.
I'm mostly excited for Prison Break because I loved that show! I really hope that this next chapter in this story turns out great and does these characters justice. I would have been fine had the series not been revived, but since it's coming, of course I'm going to watch it!

Sometimes we all need a little reminder we are still fun!
On Jane the Virgin Season 3 Episode 6, the arrival of Jane's cousin, Catalina, made her begin to wonder if her life's too boring. Thankfully, Michael was there to make her see they still have it in them to be spontaneous.
Elsewhere in the episode, Rafael and Catalina made a connection, Petra got played, and Rogelio came upon a devastating sight.
When comparing herself to Catalina, you can't blame Jane for thinking that she's boring. All of us would be boring compared to the glamorous, exciting life she rambled on and one about.
But I'm not buying any of it. Catalina's sudden arrival is suspicious. Then you add in all these supposed adventures she's been on. It's possible she's telling the truth about her life, but knowing this show, there's bound to be a devious plot twist coming.

Holy Hotness!
There were many things to love about Pitch Season 1 Episode 7. The equal opportunity nude fest for example. Then of course there was the tension between Livan and Mike, the peek into Mike's past, and bonding between Ginny and Al.
What's not to enjoy?
It's funny, after the bombshell at the end of Pitch Season1 Epiosde 6, I fully expected the episode to be completely dedicated to the fallout and damage control. I was expecting a full hour of Ginny being embarrassed, her teammates being jackasses about the whole ordeal, and those closest being disappointed.
I was expecting a serious hour and a hell of a lot of mainsplaining before we got to a lukewarm moment of empowerment at the end.
Thank God it was absolutely none of that. In fact the episode was lighter than I ever could have imagined and the more serious moments revolved around Mike, who dominated the hour.

Reflecting on the studio’s upcoming slate, Pixar President Jim Morris revealed during the summer that the animation giant currently has plans in place for four original movies beyond 2019. Such a statement of intent was greeted with open arms, particularly after a string of sequels in the form of Toy Story 3, Cars 2, Monsters University and Finding Dory.
Each film earned respectable reviews, of course, and Toy Story 3 blew past all expectations to enter Hollywood’s billion dollar club, but there’s something to be said about Pixar’s originality – just look at Inside Out. Striking a balance between established properties and new IP is key, then, and according to director Pete Docter, a third installment in the Monsters, Inc. franchise could be in the cards.
When quizzed by Entertainment Weekly about the prospect of Monsters, Inc. 3, Docter replied as so:
You never say never — who knows what will happen?...

Prison Break originally aired over a decade ago. That alone makes it ripe for the revival treatment like every other series that was once successful. But we’re still months away from witnessing Michael Schofield and co. try to break in and out of yet another penitentiary in season 5.
To get us re-acquainted with the show, and to remind everyone that it’s still a thing, the network has issued another tantalizing little featurette. The show isn’t due to arrive until 2017, making it quite surprising that there’s so many specifics about the plot given away in this 90-second clip. Still, we all suspected that Michael would return from the dead, didn’t we?
The show originally kicked off in 2005. It’s a thrilling, fun, and at times, far-fetched action series about Wentworth Miller’s brainy architect who gets himself locked up just so he can help his convicted brother escape.

Did anyone else expect Mike to accept the deal?
On Suits Season 6 Episode 4, Harvey made it his mission to get Mike on board with talking about Kevin in order to get out of prison.
It was an intriguing development to have Mike accept the deal. He obviously battled with what to do, but at the end of the day, he looked out for himself.
I know Harvey was trying to help Mike, but I can't agree with the way he went about it. Mike is a grown man who makes his own mistakes.
He should have been allowed the choice, without being put in awkward situations. Mike may be in a lot of trouble but he's been pretty good at managing it so far.
If he didn't realize Frank was almost eligible for parole, it would have changed things dramatically.

Fox has released the new trailer for their upcoming Prison Break revival series that they premiered during the show’s panel at Comic-Con over the weekend. Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead, Colony) was recently officially set to reprise her role as Dr. Sara Tancredi in Fox’s upcoming Prison Break revival series. She will join returning stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell in the event. As a fan of this show, it’s great to see that the old gang is getting back together again for another crazy on-the-run survival adventure.
We will be treated with nine episodes in the upcoming Prison Break limited series, and there are still other cast members in negotiations to come back. Other returning cast members include Robert Knepper as T-Bag, Rockmond Dunbar as C-Note, and Amaury Nolasco as Sucre.

While the Fox drama Prison Break centred on two brothers and their time spent attempting to escape various kinds of incarceration, the character of Dr Sara Tancredi was always a vital part of that equation. In a show drenched in testosterone, she brought a little balance to the proceedings – not least because she was very well written, and very well performed. It is great news, then, that the actress behind the character, Sarah Wayne Callies, is confirmed as returning for the forthcoming Prison Break sequel series – otherwise known as Prison Break, season five.
Dr. Tancredi first appeared in the pilot episode in 2005, as the prison physician at Fox River State Penitentiary. She crosses paths with one Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) when he gets himself incarcerated for the express purpose of breaking his brother, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) out of jail. Callies will reprise her role as Dr. Sara Tancredi, the love interest of Wentworth Miller's lead character Michael Scofield. Miller and his "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" co-star Dominic Purcell, who plays Michael's brother Lincoln Burrows, are also returning.
Set years after Michael's apparent death at the end of the previous season, Sara has moved on with her life and is raising her and Michael’s child with her new husband (Mark Feuerstein). Police believe Kristin Cavallari's brother Michael may have died from exposure to cold weather after crashing his car off a Utah highway.
"We think it may be a contributing factor, but we won't know for sure until we get the autopsy results back," Sheriff Steven White of Grand County, Utah, tells People.
Autopsy results will be available in six to eight weeks depending on when the toxicology report comes out, White says. There is no indication of suicide or foul play at this point, and White says search patterns indicate Michael, 30, was "disoriented" before his death.
