DC Comics is at it again, and this time they’re going bananas with a unique twist. March 2024 is going to be more exciting than ever with the release of DC’s ‘Ape-ril Special’. Yes, you read that right! DC is celebrating our closest animal relatives in an all-ape extravaganza, perfectly timed just before Ape-ril Fools Day.
The special comic book, packed with 48 pages of adventure, is set to hit the shelves on March 19th. It’s an invitation to join in on an ape-ic journey, a nod to DC’s rich history with these fascinating creatures. But there’s more! Along with the main cover by Dan Mora, DC is also releasing a ‘Banana Scent’ variant cover by Hayden Sherman and another variant by Bernard Chang. Imagine that – a comic book that smells like bananas!
The story is all about filling the void left by Gorilla Grodd’s absence.
