Another season of Married at First Sight is on the horizon and we couldn’t be happier to move on from the disastrous Denver season.
They’re bringing the show back to Chicago with a new batch of hopefuls ready to trust the process and have the experts find their perfect match.
That certainly didn’t happen in Season 17, but we’re crossing our fingers that the Chicago cast will reignite our hope in the eight-week marital experiment.
This is not the first time that The Windy City has been the backdrop for the popular lifetime time show, Season 5 was also filmed in Chicago, Illinois.
It aired in 2017, and of the three couples featured that season, one has a successful marriage to show for it.
That’s the season that gave us Ashley Petta and her husband Anthony D’Amico. They have been married for over seven years and have two adorable kids.

Outlander‘s showrunner is speaking out about the criticism that was received during season seven in a resurfaced interview.

Viewers of TLC’s Sister Wives have sounded the alarm regarding the behavior of Robyn Brown, Kody Brown’s legal wife, throughout the series 18 seasons. They claim she “spoils” and “ruins everything she touches” within the once-united polygamist clan. What are the reasons behind fan disdain? Here are the details.
Robyn Brown has been vilified by ‘Sister Wives’ fans
Robyn Brown married Kody Brown in 2010. She was the first wife added to his polygamist family in 16 years, joining Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown. From the start, Robyn was painted as Kody’s favorite.
However, many fans who have rewatched earlier episodes found instances claiming Robyn manipulated Kody. Also, he appears to spend most of his time with Robyn, who, according to Kody, “is fundamentally loyal.”
Sister Wives fans criticized Robyn’s actions on Reddit. “Robyn is like the coworker in the office who always [expletive] up, is rude to everyone, and does more work.

Sister Wives star Kody Brown continues to mourn the end of his marriage to Christine Brown as season 18 continues. He is also dealing with irreparable problems within his union with Janelle Brown. However, Kody’s marriage to his legal wife, Robyn Brown, is also in trouble. During the series’ latest installment, Kody Brown threatened to “run away” from his monogamist marriage, but Robyn claims a “deal breaker” could end their union for good.
Is Robyn Brown and Kody Brown’s marriage on the rocks?
Since Sister Wives premiered in 2010, Kody and Robyn Brown’s marriage appeared to be the most stable of his four unions. Previously, Kody was legally wed to Meri Brown and spiritually married to Christine, Janelle, and Robyn Brown.
Kody cemented his relationship with Robyn by divorcing Meri in 2014 and marrying Robyn. This allowed him to legally adopt her three children from her first marriage to David Jessop: Dayton,...

It's been a while since we've spent a lot of time in the past-future, but it's quickly becoming my favorite.
It's not surprising since it's more familiar in terms of both society and sentiment.
I'd venture to guess not many of us have ever found ourselves struggling in times of war, but many of us have lost loved ones and grieved their loss or found it trying to fit in at a new job.
So, instead of starting in the present and saving the big finish of the past for last, this time out, we'll tackle the past first with Outlander Season 7 Episode 5.
Frankly, there's not much going on back there worthy of discussion.
Claire and Jamie have been through this so many times you ache for them.
They've said goodbye to loved ones, packed up, and gone to war.
That could be why it seems so easy breezy for them this time around.

Starz’s Outlander season seven episode five splits time between Brianna starting work in her new job as Plant Inspector and Jamie, Claire, and Ian’s experiences in Fort Ticonderoga.
The episode begins with Brianna (Sophie Skelton) finding Jemmy and Mandy in the old family graveyard and reminding them it’s not a playground. Jem admits that Mandy wanted to speak to granddad, although no one knows if that’s where he’s buried. Bree agrees it’s possible, and Jem confesses that he built a cairn for Jamie.
It’s too difficult for Bree even to enter the graveyard, so she remains at the gate. She’s not ready to take that step yet.
Bree returns home and holds more of her mom and dad’s letters. Roger (Richard Rankin) joins her, and she explains that the kids visit Jamie...

Richard Rankin and Sophie Skelton in ‘Outlander’ season 7 episode 4 (Photo Credit: Starz)
Starz’s Outlander season seven episode four opens with a short time jump to Lallybroch in 1980. Two years have passed since Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger (Richard Rankin) purchased the property, and the family’s living in a mobile home in the front yard while it’s being repaired. Jemmy and Mandy have reached the fighting siblings stage, and Mandy hits her older brother with a stick. Mandy only grudgingly says she’s sorry.
It’s revealed Bree and Roger won’t let the workers paint over the dining room murals or fix a large spot on the wall. There’s still so much work to be done that the estimate’s jumped up to what Bree describes as an “astronomical” figure. They’re halfway through their money and not even close to having bedrooms at this point.

Jamie and Claire's trip to Scotland has been cut short due to the Revolutionary War that's afoot, but we still get our Scottish fix through Brianna, Roger, and the kids, who are remodeling her ancestral home.
The best-laid plans are often scuttled, but never more than during times of war.
Let's start talking about Outlander Season 7 Episode 4.
Brianna and Roger adjust to life in the 1980s
As much as I feel for the Fraser family being torn apart at the seams through time travel, joining Brianna and Roger in the '80s is worth it.
Claire has already had her chance at an incredible career in the 20th Century, and Brianna deserves the same.
If you didn't grow up when I did, it's hard to believe that it wasn't that long ago that women's place in the corporate world was most often relegated to the secretarial arts.

My prayers at the altar of Dougal MacKenzie, patron saint of bushy eyebrows, have been answered: Starz’s Outlander chose to condense the Great Dismal Swamp part of An Echo in the Bone so greatly, it all fits into a small piece of this week’s episode, thank sweet baby Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ.
You all know I love Diana Gabaldon’s books. I’m usually very happy to meander wherever she wants to take me, and for however many pages she sees fit. But the chunk of her seventh Outlander novel that takes place in the Great Dismal Swamp just feels interminable.

The opening scene of Starz’s Outlander season seven episode three shows a delivery man dropping off a chest with the name Jeremiah Alexander Ian Fraser MacKenzie emblazoned on the lid. We’re left hanging for just a moment as “The Skye Boat Song” plays, and then it’s revealed that the chest has been kept in a bank vault for 200 years.
It’s presented to Roger (Richard Rankin) and Brianna (Sophie Skelton) who, by the way, look terrific in ‘80s attire and new hairstyles. After revealing that Mandy’s doing great, Fiona Graham Buchan (Iona Claire) – who’s happy to have them back – gives them time alone to open the chest. Inside are a musket ball and scores of letters written to Brianna from Jamie and Claire.
The first letter she opens is dated April 1776, and Jamie assures her they’re alive.

Claire and Jamie's lovely home on Fraser's Ridge is no more because people wanted something they hadn't rightfully earned.
There is a full recap of Outlander Season 7 Episode 3 if you click that link, and there you will find the full story behind the episode.
Here, we're going to discuss what these developments mean to the story as it progresses.
The good news is that the fire did enormous damage, but the people of Fraser's Ridge fought hard for their friends' home, reminding everyone of what makes life on the Ridge so special.
Claire and Jamie just said goodbye to their family, and with the fire, all of their memories were lost, as well. It's a difficult pill to swallow, but they have each other, which is what matters most.
When you're a time-traveling family, you have to count your blessings because of that ability, even as you mourn what's left behind when you part.

There is nearly no topic that Jamie and Claire Fraser can’t make romantic, as evidenced by this exclusive sneak peek from Friday’s Outlander (Starz, 8/7c).
Although they look as snuggly and in love as ever — and they are! — the subject at hand isn’t the sexiest: The Frasers are musing about how they’ll handle arrangements in the event that one of them dies before the other. Hot!

The hugely popular Outlander is back with a seventh season, the penultimate one, in fact, as we soon prepare for life without these characters. Two of our very favourites, and we speak for most fans, are Brianna & Roger – so needless to say, we were rather pleased to have the opportunity to speak to both Sophie Skelton & Richard Rankin to mark this latest series.
We spoke about their characters and their fate, and whether things are looking up for them in this latest season (spoiler alert: don’t get too positive) – while they also look ahead and discuss the eighth and final season. In this enjoyable, conversational chat, the funny, affable duo also speak about Gogglebox, for which we’re now convinced should happen.
Watch the full interview with Sophie Skelton & Richard Rankin here:

On Outlander Season 7 Episode 1, Claire's resourcefulness and persuasive abilities are tested as she navigates her imprisonment and tries to secure her safety.
As the series progresses well beyond the season premiere and with much vital ground to cover, Claire's predicament is addressed with expediency rare for shows these days who like to milk the drama for as long as they can.
That's never been a problem for Outlander, and there is always another dramatic moment pounding on Claire and Jamie Fraser's door.
We never expected Claire to face the gallows noose again, but that didn't make Jamie's dream about it any less stressful.
They've been down this road too many times for the possibilities not to eat away at his brain, turning his sweet slumber into something far more malevolent.
Claire was safely ensconced in prison, and her modern sensibilities once again set her on a course for success.

After keeping us in Fraser’s Ridge for multiple seasons — featuring a slew of frustrating but not always interesting villains, and at the cusp of the Revolutionary War — “Outlander” Season 7 feels like a breath of fresh air.
The season premiere begins where we’ve been before: a determined Jamie (Sam Heughan) with Ian (John Bell) at his side, out to save his beloved Claire (Caitríona Balfe) from being tried for the death of Malva Christie (Jessica Reynolds). Claire, meanwhile, does what she can to survive — and she has truly perfected the art of keeping her wits about her while facing impending doom.
But unlike other seasons that bludgeoned and violated our heroine in unnecessarily graphic ways, we’re given a respite here. Instead, Claire’s looming trial and potential execution are delayed in part thanks to her skills as a doctor and because of the era’s political unrest, with Jamie always one step behind.
