Jenny Winton
- Actress
Jenny is a dancer and dance teacher, known for her being cast in Bull as a cheerleader.
Jenny describes herself as follows, as of May 5, 2023: I Started dancing at the age of six at the San Francisco Ballet School. Training under the direction of some of the best instructors and performers in the field of classical dance, I soon developed a passion and fascination for the art form and by the time I was twelve, I knew I wanted to be a professional ballerina.
I landed my first contract with a major dance company when I was 17, and joined the Joffrey Ballet (my dream company) when I was 19. During my fifth season with the company, I competed in the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, MS as a Senior Soloist. I was later approached by a casting director for the "National Tour of Dirty Dancing" and landed the lead role of "Penny". For the next two years I toured the country with the cast performing eight shows a week as well as teaching dance masterclasses in most of the cities. I worked with students of all ages and abilities and discovered that my intense years of training not only gave me the skill set I needed for a successful performing career, but an eye for talent and a love for teaching. Motivated to share my experience and knowledge with young aspiring artists, I moved to New York City to split my time between teaching and performing. I signed with Clear Talent Agency and booked several exciting jobs including a guest star role on the CBS Television series BULL all the while teaching and choreographing for schools in the Tri-State area. I am currently a company artist of the Aspen Santa Fe ballet, am on faculty for the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet School, and am certified as a personal trainer in The Method Pilates.
