Netflix's latest docuseries, Country Ever After (previously known as Country-ish), follows country singer Coffey Anderson and his wife, hip-hop dancer Criscilla Anderson, across a season of life challenges, big moments, and health struggles. The first season looks packed full of big drama and heartfelt stories, and we're already wondering if a second season is in the works.
It's really still too early to tell whether or not the reality series will return for a second season, especially because the first season was originally scheduled to premiere on Sept. 25, but has been delayed until Nov. 6. Typically, it takes at least a couple of months after a show releases for Netflix to make a public decision about renewal, especially for shows in their first seasons, so fans of Country Ever After probably won't hear anything until around the end of the year, at least.

How is Criscilla Anderson doing these days? Netflix's upcoming docuseries Country-Ish promises to answer that question, following the hip-hop dancer and her husband, country star Coffey Anderson, through the highs and lows of their life, including Criscilla's battle with stage 4 colon cancer. The show promises a realistic look at her cancer fight, which isn't surprising, given how open she has been about the real struggles ever since her diagnosis in 2018.
In an April Instagram post, Anderson shared good news: her tumors have been shrinking, some down to under 5 mm in size. "I know that God has healed me. I know this is my miracle from God. I have received my healing from Him. I will be here to watch my babies grow up and I will be here to grow old with my husband. I'm going to keep doing everything that God has put in my path to stay healthy,...
