The Summer Games are sure to bring many celebrities to London from actors, artists and even U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama. But for the next few weeks, the real focus of the world will be on the thousands of Olympians representing their respective countries.
MTV News caught up with some of the U.S. athletes in New York City and asked them which artists get them pumped up before the big competition. Here’s what they said:
Music News
Arielle Martin, BMX Racing
Fact: During the summers, Arielle and her husband ride their twin Ducati Monsters.
Music: Motley Crue – "Kickstart My Heart." "We get time trial song every time we go on the track to qualify, individually, and that’s been mine for the last three years."
Betsey Armstong, Water Polo
Fact: She's the only player on the USA team...
