12 Rounds 3: Lockdown continues the long-running franchise with yet another WWE superstar given the chance to headline. This time round we have Dean Ambrose, a wrestler known for his anarchic, unstable nature who doesn’t play by the rules. And that’s essentially the same character he plays here – only this time his character, Shaw, also happens to be a cop. The only good cop in his precinct it would seem, given just how many men Shaw’s former partner turned nemesis, Burke, brings with him to take on Shaw!
Essentially another Die Hard clone (as were the first two movies), 12 Rounds 3 sees Shaw, following the death of his partner, finally return to active duty.

I’m as big an action movie fan as I am a horror nut, so these “fight to the death” type genre films are admittedly one of my guilty pleasures. Josh C. Waller’s Raze follows in the footsteps of so many films that show captured prisoners being forced into some type of savage competition, so I looked towards the choreographed fighting for an invigorating jolt of energy. I mean, c’mon guys, who doesn’t love a good chick fight, am I right?! Ugh, yeah, there’s nothing comparable to foxy boxing here, which I found out during the very first brawl. There’s a reason Zoe Bell is one of the most respected female stuntwoman in Hollywood, as she dispatches foes one by one – but without a seriously effective social commentary, the brutally unapologetic violence never becomes more than surface value depravity.

Why is Zoe Bell so awesome? It is a question that I have asked myself a few times. Maybe even multiple times watching Tarantino’s Death Proof. She has a new movie where she teams up again with Tracie Thoms as well as Twin Peaks alumni Sherilyn Fenn. Rachel Nichols, Rebecca Marshall and Doug Jones also star.

"You should see the other girls." Oh, you haven't heard about this film yet? A wild action/horror indie film called Raze that stars stunt-woman Zoe Bell (who also produced) as well as Rachel Nichols, Tracie Thoms, Sherilyn Fenn, Doug Jones, Bailey Anne Borders, Rebecca Marshall, Adrienne Wilkinson and Allene Quincy. The plot involves 50 women that are kidnapped and held captive and forced to fight to the death. Uh yea, that sounds kind of awesome, and we have a trailer and a poster to prove it. The trailer is old, but the poster is brand new (and it reminds me a bit of the vintage Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! poster art) timed with the upcoming New York Comic-Con premiere. Now you've heard of this film, but will you watch it? You tell us. Here's the new promo poster for Josh C. Waller's film Raze, originally debuted by Entertainment Weekly:...

Indie sci-fi is always exciting to hear about, no matter how the eventual project turns out — be it a Moon or, God forbid, Another Earth. The latest line in this recent movement, is Life Tracker, which Variety says will be led by Kyle Xy‘s Matt Dallas, Saw 3D‘s Rebecca Marshall and How to Make a David Lynch Film‘s Barry Finnegan.
This project marks director Joe McClean‘s feature-length debut. He got his start with the six-minute short Coffee Connection back in 2008, and most recently directed the aforementioned How to Make a David Lynch Film — something we’d all like to know, I’m sure. The director has also written the script, with Sarju Patel and Debbie Vandermeulen are producing; NBA player-turned-producer Baron Davis and Marshall will executive produce.
Here’s a plot summary (via IMDb):

Bonjour Dr. Gordon. The French have revealed a new trailer for 'Saw 3D' and we get a few extra glimpses of Cary Elwes playing the fore-mentioned doctor and a bit more trap action. The overall trailer is much like the early conceptual 3D one that decides to indicate that this 3D will be so good that actual things from the film will burst out of the screen and of course the audiences very own cinema seats will become horrific torturous traps. Tobin Bell returns for the final time as the now-legendary Jigsaw (John Kramer). Elwes is back and will reprise his role he last played in the 2004 original 'Saw' movie. Costas Mandylor and Betsy Russell also return to the fold as Mark Hoffman and Jill Tuck respectively.
