- Directed "One Person," a music video for independent Toronto singer/songwriter Kathryn Rose. (Spring 2005)
- Directed a production of Tom Noonan's What Happened Was at Toronto's Berkeley Street Theatre, starring Marie Dame and Chris McCawley. The play received a four star rating in Eye Weekly. (Fall 2005)
- Researched and contributed material for both The Wallflower Critical Guide to North American Directors (as a contributing writer) and The American Film Institute Desk Reference (as a senior writer). (2000-2001)
- Worked as freelance contributor for such music publications as Rolling Stone, Musician, Network and Chart, and as associate editor for The New Review of Records. Interviewed a wide range of musical personalities. (1995-1999)
- Wrote and co-produced Tall Tales from the Little Black Book, an original play that premiered Off-Off-Broadway. (Summer 2006 and Spring 2001)
