‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!’ actor Rohitashv Gour credits the show for giving him success and experience to grow in the industry, adding that initially when it started, no one thought that it would continue for more than three months.
“When we started we thought, ‘Bhabhi ji Ghar Par Hain’ would last not more than three months and now we are in our eighth year. The good part is that the comedy that the show works on is pure, nothing satirical or anything. It’s a story of two families where the men love each other’s wives.
“One of the reasons why the show has set a different kind of benchmark is because the dialogues and phrases are in Kanpuriya dialect and accent,” he says.
Rohitashv, however, does not relate to his character of Tiwari in the show. “I am much of a serious person,” he adds.

The lockdown has got all of us cooking and sweeping our houses. However, a few of us are blessed with live-in servants. Here is how the ones without house help are managing.
Vijayendra Kumeria:?I am lucky that I have a house help who stays with me here only and they are like family to us. We don?t put the entire burden on them. As the lockdown has been extended, I have a lot of free time.
I try to do something or the other. I love cooking and this one time, I was cooking and the food was almost ready, I kept the flame on high and came to the hall. We were all watching the news and no one even realized that the food was burning.
Mrunal Jain:?I do jhaadu daily and my mother does the cooking. My wife does the poocha and dusting.

Well, seeing actor Rohitashv Gour in his show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain is always a treat, however, seeing him in his element during this time is surely a double treat. The actor, too, agrees that watching comedy shows such as his is great at this time of distress when everyone is so uncertain about the future.?
?I agree that corona has taken a toll on the whole world but if in this time we take too much stress and panic, then our lives will become a mess. So it would be better to keep a positive attitude and try to spread positivity around through the medium of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,? he says, adding, ?Watching comedy shows at this time is very helpful because we get to laugh, which is a good thing. We become stress-free for some period of time and our minds get diverted.?

Ramayan, Circus, and Mahabharat have made a comeback on screen, and we are loving it. Here are the other shows which these TV actors wish would come back.
Amrita Prakash:?I think we had some beautiful shows on television in the 90s. There are some wonderful shows that I have grown up watching and performing in, which influenced me as a performer and a person.
I feel blessed to have been part of television during its golden age, in the late 90s and early 2000s- with shows like 'Rishtey' and 'star bestsellers' - which were completely story-centric. As opposed to the Trp-centric storyline we have today, back then every story was spun and told so beautifully, with performances that moved the soul. How I wish we would only bring back these shows to re watch but also to remake. I miss being a part of that wondrous era in Indian television.

Mohammad Nazim:?On?Netflix, I love? The most beautiful hands of Delhi. It's not because I am being part of the series, but it?s a wonderfully made series, shot by an Oscar-nominated Swedish director, Hannes Holms. He is making this series into a Hollywood film and hopefully, I am looking forward to be part of it as well. Honestly, it has no lesson to learn but it best does what it?s supposed to do - entertain. But I, as an actor, loved how every actor has performed flawlessly and naturally yet keeping the spark and style alive.
Rohitashv Gour:?Narcos, Sacred Games, Apaharan are some of the best web series I watched. Apaharan was very much talked about in the initial days but not much later. It?s a very good web series made by Siddharth Sen Gupta. The screenplay, dialogues, script, direction, and actors are simply superb.

The television industry has come together once again to fight an issue.? Owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, Film/TV shootings across India to stop from March 19 to 31. The decision was taken in compliance with the initiatives taken by central as well as State government.
While the show producers have already given a green signal and started following the rule, even popular faces of television industry have urged their fans to take the necessary precautions against the virus and agree with the film and television associations to stop shooting.
Nikkhil Arya-?Firstly it's a welcome step since our sets our really ticking time bombs when it comes to the spread of this virus. Also, ?since our country's testing facilities are not fast and up there, precaution is our best hope against this epidemic. Our industry, like every other industry, will suffer losses but like they say "jaan hai toh jahan hain".

Actors reveal the gifts they want from Santa Claus this Christmas.
Sanjay Gagnani:?I would like to ask Santa Claus to give me a lot of energy and wisdom, all actors and performers need a lot of energy to work hard and grow. Without positive energy and concentration, one cannot perform and win the hearts of the audiences. So, I would like to ask Santa Claus to bless me with such an energy and a lot of positive vibes to entertain the audiences and wisdom to make the right decisions in life. And I would like to ask Santa Claus to teach me punctuality.
Amal Sehrawat:?This year, I really want to ask Santa what gift does he want? I strongly believe in gratitude and realise that he has given me enough gifts all these years and made me feel special. Now it's payback time.
