During her appearance on the Steve Harvey Show earlier this week, Hunter, 51, told Harvey that her daughter Frances Quinn is "amazing." "She sings all the time, she's just always got a happy little tune going on," Hunter shared. Edwards fathered Frances Quinn during a presidential run in 2007 while he was still married to the late Elizabeth Edwards. Hunter, who was a filmmaker hired to work on his campaign, gave birth in February 2008, but Edwards didn't admit paternity until January 2010. His wife,...

Disgraced former senator and two-time presidential candidate John Edwards isn’t exactly a hero in the public eye, but we’re happy to hear that he’s moved on from his former mistress Rielle Hunter. John has been spotted with a 35-year-old single mom named Danielle King, and apparently he’s already quite smitten!
The world was disgusted when Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards cheated on his doting, cancer-stricken wife Elizabeth prior to the 2008 election, then subsequently less shocked when that move ruined his political career. Now, five years after the birth of his child with Rielle Hunter – and three after Elizabeth’s tragic death — John, 60, has moved on with a more suitable candidate.

Frances Quinn has won the fourth series of The Great British Bake Off.
The finale saw the three all-female finalists bake a Picnic Pie, undertake a pretzel technical challenge and lastly a wedding cake showstopper.
After discovering that she had won, beating fellow bakers Ruby Tandoh, 21, and Kimberley Wilson, 30, to the crown, Quinn said: "Oh good God. I hoped, I dreamt it, but I don't think I ever truly truly believed it."
The 31-year-old added: "I'm over the moon. I don't think I'm going to realise exactly what's hit me for two days, but right now I feel on cloud nine."
Meanwhile, judge Paul Hollywood said: "Frances is a deserved winner. When it came to the showstopper, she just beat the other two guys hands down. She not only gave us the style, but the substance too."
Mary Berry added: "Frances has many qualities, she has attention to detail, she's got excellent flavours.

Writing on his blog, Morton stated that he was upset to read "fascist publications" that document "abhorrent" comments online.
He said: "This year's cruelty isn't a unique occurrence to any particular Bake Off contestant. It happens across the board; it was there last year and, like these last few weeks, was targeted at the perceived younger and more attractive women."
Referencing chef Raymond Blanc's criticisms of the show earlier this week, Morton wrote: "I respect that some of you hurling your e-faeces at the wonderful Ms Tandoh et al are genuine e-w*nkers. And I guess that many of you, like Mr Blanc, forgivably...

After John learned his trial ended without a conviction, he spoke tearfully about his children. I'm glad he avoided jail — for their sake. What do You think, Hollywoodlifers? John Edwards is a lucky man. His trial ended with one count of not guilty and the rest a mistrial. But the real victims here were not Bunny Mellon and the rest of John's donors, whose money was used to hide his mistress Rielle Hunter. The victims of this scandal were John's children. All of them. Oldest daughter Cate, 30, a lawyer, who accompanied her father every day to court, Emma Claire, 14, and Jack, 12, who are being raised by their lone-surviving parent, and little Frances Quinn, 4. The oldest, besides Cate, had to be well aware of the embarrassing scandal their father was involved in. They have been ridiculed at school, and they no doubt miss their mother Elizabeth Edwards desperately, who they lost...

The John Edwards campaign fund fraud trial is calling one of its highest-profile witnesses to the stand - his 30-year-old daughter Cate Edwards, who has been a public supporter of her father's throughout this entire ordeal.
Edwards is on trial for allegedly using almost $1 million in campaign donations to hide his affair with Rielle Hunter and subsequently also hide their baby daughter Frances Quinn during the 2008 presidential campaign. If convicted, he could be sentenced for up to 30 years in prison.
Edwards' main defense is that he was using the money not to conceal the affair and child from the voters, but from his wife Elizabeth Edwards, who was dying of cancer.
Sandra Sobieraj Westfall, who is close to the Edwards family, tells ABC News, "I think we will expect to hear more details from Cate how he loved Elizabeth, how he tended to her in her final days.

The Rielle Hunter affair that is at the heart of John Edwards' campaign fund fraud trial may be cooling off, according to the New York Post. A server at Charlotte, N.C. restaurant Rooster's Wood Fire Kitchen says that during a recent visit, the couple didn't look as fiery as they once did.
"They didn't seem romantic. They looked like a married couple. You would think that if you didn't know them. He sat across from her in a booth," says the waiter.
Hmm. Or it could be they've just moved past the honeymoon stage and have started behaving like every other couple that has been together for years behaves.
The server goes on to tell the Post that there was no kissing, no hand holding and instead Edwards took daughter Frances Quinn to see the fountain in the atrium of the restaurant.
Oh no! Showing his daughter the fountain!

Cate banned her father's mistress, Rielle Hunter, from her Oct. 22 nuptials, says a new report. But her dad's love child, Frances Quinn, was allowed to join in on the celebration! When Cate said her "I do's" to high school sweetheart, Trevor Upham, she kept her mother, Elizabeth Edwards, in mind: Rielle Hunter would not attend the wedding. "John had hoped that his two families could come together for this happy event," a source tells the Enquirer. "But the last thing Cate wanted on her wedding day was to see her father's mistress there - and she made it very clear to him that Rielle was not welcome." Elizabeth's favorite flowers and poems were part of the wedding, too, the Enquirer reports. And Cate planned the wedding with her mother before her death on Dec. 7 2010. What do you think, Hollywoodlifers? Would you not invite your father's mistress to your wedding? [polldaddy poll=5617575] — Nicole...

Cate's mother Elizabeth Edwards reportedly helped her plan the details of her 'rustic romantic' North Carolina wedding before she died of cancer last December, and there was even a candle burning on the altar in her honor. After a painful past few years the Edwards family can finally rejoice! Cate Edwards, 29 and her college sweetheart Trevor Upham, 30 were married on Oct. 22 in Chapel Hill, Nc., in front of 150 family members and friends. Despite the grief her father John Edwards put the family through with his extra-marital affair and lovechild, Frances Quinn, 3, Cate had her father walk her down the aisle. But press-shy John, who's been charged with using over $900,000 of campaign funds to support his ex-mistress Rielle Hunter, didn't walk out the front door of the church after the ceremony- instead, escaping out the back. Cate, who became engaged last Thanksgiving, reportedly planned the wedding with her mother Elizabeth Edwards before her death on Dec.

Cate Edwards, daughter of the late Elizabeth Edwards and her estranged husband, former presidential candidate John Edwards, is finally having an occasion to be joyous about - she and fiance Dr. Trevor Upham (pictured with Cate, above) will marry Saturday (Oct. 22) at her parents' home outside Chapel Hill, Nc.
Cate's mother Elizabeth passed away from breast cancer just two weeks after Cate and Trevor became engaged, but Cate tells Glamour that the two of them got to work on wedding preparations as much as they could in the short time they had.
"I feel so lucky to have shared that joy with her, to have had the time to leaf through bridal magazines together and talk about the wedding. I feel blessed because, in her last weeks, she told me she was comforted to know I'd set forth on my own life path, with someone she loved and respected, and...

If these new reports are accurate, this is the ultimate outrage.
Not a month after burying his wife of 32 years, Elizabeth Edwards, on Dec. 11, John Edwards may already have gotten engaged — to the woman who destroyed his marriage to Elizabeth.
The National Enquirer reports that John proposed to Rielle Hunter, his former mistress and mother of their love-child, Frances Quinn Hunter, in front of John and Elizabeth’s three children: Cate, 28, Jack, 10, and Emma Claire, 12. (The Enquirer broke the original story of Edwards’ affair.)
John reportedly took his children to a lodge near the home of Rielle in Charlotte, Nc, and then took them to the Macaroni Grill, for their first official meeting with the woman who broke up his marriage. According to the story, Rielle “wept” and John allegedly promised Rielle that they would one day become “one big happy family.”
“After discussing it with a friend,” says a source.

The Edwards family said Monday (Dec. 6) in a statement, "Elizabeth has been advised by her doctors that further treatment of her cancer would be unproductive. She is resting at home with her family and friends and has posted this message to friends on her Facebook page."
The Facebook message reads:
You all know that I have been sustained throughout my life by three saving graces - my family, my friends, and a faith in the power of resilience and hope. These graces have carried me through difficult times and they have brought more joy to the good times than I ever could have imagined. The days of our lives, for all of us, are numbered. The former aide to John Edwards, Andrew Young, reacts to Edwards' wife Elizabeth opening up about her husband's scandalous affair with Rielle Hunter. When news surfaced that Hunter was pregnant, Young attempted to cover up the former senator's affair by saying that he was the father of the child. Edwards later admitted to being the biological parent of Hunter's daughter Frances Quinn. Earlier this week, Elizabeth spoke out about the affair but Young says he was not satisfied with her interviews, telling Et, "As much as I admire Elizabeth's resilience and understand her pain, I am disappointed that she is not yet facing the truth about the scandal that hurt so many people, and our country. She is not facing the facts and not taking responsibility for her role in constructing the myth of John Edwards and enabling him to carry on a terrible deception." He adds, "Instead she...

On the topic of dating, 61-year-old Elizabeth, who is battling terminal cancer, tells People, "I don't see any reason to go back to that. That would sure surprise me, if somehow I fell in love with someone. It would surprise me even more if someone fell in love with me." Edwards tells Lauer, in part, the following about her estranged husband's extramarital affair with Rielle Hunter, "I still really feel I need to break free of the media-imposed image. I'm not just a cuckolded wife….But I think about Sandra Bullock -- who I don't know at all -- what an incredible year she's had. She won the Academy Award for an incredible performance, and more than that, she took that story and integrated that into her own life in this healthy happy way. And yet, the stories you hear are not about all those great successes, but about the failure of her marriage. And I thought that's not who she is, and in a sense I know she, I don't know her,...

Marshall, who grew up very close to her sister but has been estranged since Hunter moved to L.A. 16 years ago, thinks Hunter really hurt Edwards' wife, Elizabeth.

Rielle Hunter is "repulsed" by her racy GQ spread. John Edwards' mistress is said to be upset with how her photos turned out on the magazine, but the men's magazine isn't buying her tantrums.
Hunter's interview with the magazine, in which she talked about her relationship with the former senator, has recently been released. Accompanying the lengthy interview are photos which feature her in a somewhat sexy light.
One of the pictures, shot by photographer Mark Seliger, shows her cuddling 2-year-old daughter Frances Quinn with her tummy exposed, while another features her sans pants lounged next to her daughter's stuffed toys.
Barbara Walters said on her show "The View" that she had talked to the former campaign manager on Monday morning and found out that Hunter did not like the photos.
