Robert Attilio Pennacchia was born on June 30, 1955 in da Bronx, New York, USA. Son to Italian parents, Dante Italo Pennacchia and Antoinette Mennona, who had five children in all. Educated at Lehman College with a BA Degree in Phys. Ed and a Master's Degree in Special Ed from the College of New Rochelle. He went on to teaching for the NYC Bd of Education for over two decades. While working for the FDNY, he was asked to play a firefighter in a Tom Fontana pilot show called, "Firehouse" in the spring of 1996. He joined the Screen Actors Guild in February of 1998 and has gone on to working five years on the TV show, "Third Watch." where he was given a principal role. He continues to work in the acting business after retiring from the FDNY, acting for over 25 years. He now resides at the Jersey shores.
