Paige Desjardins is an animation writer who has been on the writing staffs of two IP preschool productions at Disney Television Animation. She got her first break in the industry on the Educational Resource Team at Disney Junior, reading scripts/outlines for all Disney Junior productions, providing educational notes and suggestions. She moved into production on Alice's Wonderland Bakery with the hopes of breaking into the world of writing. After a year she became the show's Apprentice Writer for season 2, getting to pen two episodes about Alice's experiences cooking up fun concoctions in her bakery. After the show wrapped she hopped onto Mickey Mouse Funhouse as a staff writer, not only getting the opportunity to write nine episodes for season three but also getting to be a small part of Mickey Mouse's legacy.
She has formal training in script writing as well as a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She runs the social media page "Natural Learning Kids" which boasts 28K followers and shares advice and activities for parents/teachers of preschoolers. Paige spends her free time playing American football and volunteering on the board of Black Thumb Farm, a local urban farm in LA that teaches kids from Title 1 schools leadership skills as well as the opportunity to experience growing, tending, and cooking fresh food.
