Spiros Katsaganis is a well-known lyricist in his homeland of Greece, who rose to fame with his 2019 collaboration with rap artists OGE and APON. Mr. Katsaganis's poetry combined with the rapping of OGE and APON created a hit song Adiexodo which can be translated to 'no way out of this dead end for us souls.' The song was an instant hit and caught the eye of Eurovision star Demy who re-recorded and released the song as a ballad. It too was a hit. Mr. Katsaganis's work then caught the eye of the Focus Features and Universal Pictures creative group who was making the film My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 in Greece in the last several years, and he was chosen to create the song for the film, titled Kratise Me. His mournful lyrics were a hit with the filmmakers, Nia Vardalos, Rita Wilson, Gary Goetzman and Tom Hanks and the song was chosen to be on the soundtrack with established artists such as Diane Warren and Pandelis Pandelidis.
