- American polymath G Alvarado is an award winning writer, poet, animator, filmmaker, musician, and photographer. His titles include Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra & G Alvarado - The Oldest Established (2023), Nat King Cole & G Alvarado the Christmas Song Duet (2022), and The Toy Trumpeteer (2019). Alvarado's recognizable look and creativity are gifts thanks to his multicultural background (of Sicilian and Colombian descent). Influenced by Jazz, classic films, and baseball announcers, he learned English. This with Spanish shaped his distinct way of speaking. By the age of 2, he had his first public performance and found his love for entertainment. In his early years he created cartoon characters Red & Blue and began writing songs within a unique musical language he developed. He started teaching himself traditional hand drawn animation and writing poetry competitively. As he grew up Alvarado pursued baseball where he played for The Northwest Prospects Academy and trained under many talents including Hall of Famer Nomar Garciaparra.
Published by age 14, he began high school and launched into production of his first major animated short based on his poetry. Mr.Happ-E (2019), which after 3 years of production won him laurels in the New York Animation Film Awards, Student Los Angeles Film Awards, and an Official Selection in the Seattle Children's Film Festival. In that same year he was featured on 88.5 KNKX School of Jazz as a student DJ. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, he began working on advanced Rotoscope Animation techniques for which he's been recognized both internationally and domestically.
