It’s not the norm for an animated series to last for 14 seasons and nearly 150 episodes, and yet Archer has gone out with gumption, grace, and gravitas. The animated spy satire has gone through many facelifts over the years — including several “coma seasons” that transformed the espionage series into a film noir, adventure serial, and space opera — only to return to spy antics with greater confidence than ever. Twitter rumors got a little out of control this week as people started thinking that Jackie Chan had died. Evan Dorkin joined the collective sigh of relief, however, when everyone started verifying that "Spy Next Door" and "Rush Hour" star was still alive and well.
Elsewhere, the "Sucker Punch" tweets still haven't subsided, but "Evangelion 2.2" attracted more reactions in this morning's feed. Both Bryan Lee O'Malley and David Willis shared their feelings on the franchise's latest update, and you'll find them retweeted down below along with Brian Reed's hopes for "Mad Men" Season 5 and a dream tweet from Matt Fraction.
