Life on the road has taken its toll on Meat Loaf, who's now on his second new knee. But will this coming tour really be his last? He talks about high Cs, being signed for $6 and outwellying Wagner
A decade ago, Meat Loaf was invited on to Sky Sports' Saturday morning show Soccer Am. He didn't know anything about football, but being an actor by background, he did what actors do – he prepared. First, he knew he needed a club to support. "I thought, I don't want to go on and say I'm a Manchester United fan or a Liverpool fan – I'm gonna go down to the third level. And so I picked Hartlepool. I read about them and I found that the people of Hartlepool had hanged a monkey thinking he was a Frenchman, and I loved that story. I read everything I could about every game they played.

First, the raw numbers: this is director and writer Gareth Edwards’ first feature, the movie cost a purported $15,000, internationally speaking the film has grossed over 1.5 million dollars, this is the one film you need to see this fall.
One of the spectacular aspects of a movie that is labeled sci-fi even though we only really glimpse the science of the fiction at the very beginning and then near the end which, really, is the crowning achievement of this little film that could, is that this movie exists at all. Actor Scoot McNairy, last seen in the very sweet and gentile film In Search of a Midnight Kiss, and his co-star Whitney Able are essentially starring in a film where...

Ex-Nancy hopeful Rachel Tucker has dismissed rumours of tension between her and fellow I'd Do Anything contestant Samantha Barks. Speaking to Digital Spy, Rachel said: "It's nonsense, it's absolutely ridiculous. The week that that was picked up, Niamh, who was one of Sam's best mates, was sent home. When the girls were hugging me she was looking over to Niamh to give her a bit of support. "She did say she'd feel like a bit of a wally if she went and tried to hug me - she wouldn't have gotten in for a hug! There's no tension there at all, it's just who they want to give their support to." The 26-year-old from Belfast admitted that she hoped Jodie would walk away with the (more)...
