Fernando Zamora was born in Boston, U.S., but lived since he was very
young in Mexico City. When he was 15, he moved to New York where he
studied film writing at Columbia University. He is also Anthropologist
and Art Historian. He has written two successful novels published under
Random-House Mondadory: Triangulo de amor y Muerte and Por debajo del
agua. Por debajo del agua was originally a script he wrote and was
honored at the 1999 Writers Sundance Film Festival in Oaxaca, Mexico.
This script also was a finalist at the Nike Award in the Latino Film
Festival in New York 2001.
