Cara Sheppard leaves Sky to take on leadership role at post-production studio.
Warner Bros’ De Lane Lea has appointed Cara Sheppard as director of operations and business development.
The London-based post production studio, which recently worked on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Spectre, was acquired by Warner in 2012.
Sheppard joins with immediate effect following a six-year tenure at Sky, which she most recently serving as senior manager of post production. Previously, she served as head of post production at Goldcrest Films.
Dan Dark, senior vice president and managing director, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, said: “There is a stronger demand than ever for Warner Bros. De Lane Lea’s services and Cara’s strong post production background will ensure the continued success of the company.”

The Ink Factory production team will pick up the Team Of The Year Award, accountant Pollyanna Gill wins Spotlight Award.
The 2016 UK Production Guild Awards will honour the team behind The Night Manager, the Ink Factory’s adaptation of John Le Carre’s novel, which starred Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie.
Now in its third year, the Production Guild Awards, in association with Warner Bros Studios Leavesden, was set up to celebrate Production Guild members working in the UK film and TV drama industry. Award recipients work within the production office, production accounts, location management, VFX, post-production and assistant directing roles.
Five awards will be presented to mark individual or team contributions at a ceremony to be held at The Grove on Saturday (Sept 24).

Harry Potter fans in the UK will soon have the chance to walk through the Great Hall of Hogwarts, visit the Gryffindor common room, sneak into Dumbledore’s office and relax in Hagrid’s hut when the Warner Bros Studio Tour London opens it’s doors in Spring 2012.
In an announcement made at Empire Presents Big Screen at London’s O2 yesterday full details of the tour were revealed. Guests will be able to see firsthand the sheer scale and detail of original sets as well as having the opportunity to see the costumes, props and discover the secrets behind the franchise’s special effects including Buckbeak the Hippogriff and Aragog the giant spider in the creature effects workshop.
The tour will take place at Warner Bros Studios Leavesden in Hertfordshire, a converted Rolls Royce Factory first used by Eon productions for Pierce Brosnan’s debut outing as James Bond...

As we’ve reported in quite a bit of depth previously, Leavesden Studios was bought by Warner Bros. for £100m after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 finished filming to turn the London based studio into a Harry Potter shrine. No doubt millions of muggles will travel to the UK to see it and today, Mugglenet have released the first information that we have on it in the form of a press release and poster.
The attraction has also got a logo which seems to have the official title: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. You can also visit the attraction’s website here which will no doubt ben updated in the coming days, weeks and months leading up to the opening next year.
