Attended the University of Texas in Austin in mid-70's and performed as
vocalist in The Longhorn Singers, The Innervisions of Blackness and The
Varsity Singers.
Performed and crowned "Mr. NAACP, Youth Division" in 1974 at the NAACP
Convention, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Served in US Air Force in early 80's, and performed in "Tops in
Blue".
Toured in 1991 as a background vocalist for the late R&B/Jazz chantuese
and actress, Phyllis Hyman, most notably of Broadway's Sophisticated
Ladies fame.
Toured with Christian musical/acting ensemble, Festival of Praise, in
1979, throughout the United States.
Received SAG Card on first feature, Philadelphia, in 1991, on a scene cut from the final release.
Is an accomplished singer and songwriter with five independent releases as vocalist and several more as a producer.
