Paul A. Wood is the founder of Knock on Wood Film Productions. He first
burst onto the local Salt Lake City Film scene with the completion of
his first film, 'Shift', which he wrote, directed, produced,
photographed, and edited in 2001/2002. Since the completion of Shift,
Paul has been involved in several independent films including positions
as the Executive Producer for Wembly Hall Theatre Company's Abby Singer (2003),
and shorts such as Piggies and Patrick Waldrop's The Spider and the
Fly. His most recent project was a Hitchcock/Rod Serling inspired short
entitled "Invisible". Collaborating with writer/director Mike Hardy, Paul
produced, shot and is currently editing the film. Other projects
include a collaborative effort with composer Jeffrey Gold and
singer/songwriter Paul Luscher on a music video for their song, 'When You're
a Millionaire', from 'Abby Singer'. Paul is also currently working on
several screenplays for the Wembly Hall Theatre Company as well as his
own upcoming full length feature project "Please Me" and a TV
adaptation/collaboration of Paul St. John Fleming's book "Between
Donuts." Paul currently resides in the Salt Lake City area, where he
lives in penury with his cat.
