It's already been a year since Dan Feuerriegel walked into Salem, taking over the role of the notorious Ej Dimera, and what a year it's been!
In that time, Ej has had his heart broken by his beloved Samantha, had a brief dalliance with his ex, Nicole Walker, and is now in the midst of a torrid romance with Sami's sister, Belle.
So what's it been like for Dan to step into the role created by James Scott, who played Ej for eight years? What does the Aussie actor think of working in the U.S.? Who does he have the most fun with on the set of Days of Our Lives? And who was that making themselves known in the background of this interview? Read on.

According to a brand new report from the folks over at People.com and a host of other news outlets, one of the castmembers of ABC's hit medical drama series, "Grey's Anatomy" just proposed over the Thanksgiving holidays! This castmember is none other than the Andrew Deluca portrayer himself Giacomo Gianniotti (above middle). They say he hopped on his official Instagram account this past Sunday, November 26,2017 to reveal what he did. In his Instagram post, Giacomo shared a photo of him and his girlfriend Nichole Gustafson sharing a very passionate kiss. He captioned it with the words, "She said yes... I am truly one lucky guy, and I wouldn’t rather be walking down this crazy road of life with anyone else. I love you. Thank you." According to a new report from the glamour.com news team and a couple of other news outlets, one of the former ladies of ABC's hit drama series, "Grey's Anatomy" revealed that she isn't opposed to the idea of returning to the show even though she did leave of her own volition last year. That former Grey's star is Sara Ramirez who played character Callie Torres for 10 straight years from 2006 to 2016. Apparently, Sara did a new interview with the folks over at Entertainment Weekly. During her interview, she told them about a conversation she had with producer Shonda Rhimes about possibly returning. She said that they've definitely agreed to keep the conversations going. She stated, "When Shonda Rhimes and I last spoke, we agreed to keep the conversations going, and she knows I’m open to keeping those conversations going." Does Sara Ramirez regret leaving when she did? Apparently not.

Hey, "Grey's Anatomy" fans. We've got some very interesting new casting news for you guys in regards to this current season 14. Recently, the folks over at Entertainment Weekly put out a new article revealing that the show has hired former"One Tree Hill" actress Bethany Joy Lenz. If any of you were "One Tree Hill" fans, you'll remember her as the one who played character Haley James Scott on that show. Entertainment Weekly pointed out that this new casting comes just after they got rid of season regular Martin Henderson aka Dr. Nathan Riggs. Bethany is scheduled to just be a guest character on Grey's Anatomy. So, it doesn't sound like she'll be sticking around for long. She might come in and do an arc that spans a few episodes and then head out. But, who knows? Anything can happen. She might stick around the whole season if they decide its better for the show.

It’s time for Days of Our Lives to make like the Phoenix and rise from the ashes.
Earlier this month, NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt told fans of the 52-year-old soap that Megyn Kelly’s imminent addition to the network’s daytime landscape didn’t mean that Salem was about to be wiped off the map. Still, to ensure that those sands keep passing through the hourglass, the show might want to really needs to consider making a few changes under incoming headwriter Ron Carlivati (formerly of General Hospital).

Prom Night is a very Eighties movie. My personal favorite Eighties slasher movie is probably The Burning, but when someone mentions “slashers” I can’t help but picture Prom Night in my head. Some movies just encapsulate the genre for the decade in which they appeared. Prom Night is such a film. I expected – with the current resurgence of Eighties horror in HD – that somebody would be releasing this film to Blu-ray. When I learned that Synapse were going to be the ones to do it, it quickly became one of my most anticipated releases of the year. The beginning of this movie – where some kids chase each other around in a dilapidated warehouse of some kind – used to make me very uncomfortable. In fact, it’s the first thing that I recall when discussing the film. There is plenty to love about Prom Night, though, ranging from terrific performances...

“Starting on April 1st for three consecutive episodes, the fan-favorite couple Will Horton and Sonny Kiriakis (affectionately deemed ‘WilSon’) will tie the knot in a beautiful ceremony presided by a surprise officiate,” said NBC in a statement.

According to spoilers, the surprise officiate is Marlena (Deidre Hall), but delayed paperwork could throw a wrench in her officiating plans. However, E.J. (James Scott) and Sammy (Alison Sweeney) are enlisted to help her get everything sorted out in time for the big day.

NBC has already announced its next live musical. It will bring Peter Pan back to the small screen. This time, the broadcast won’t have to face comparisons to a beloved movie as much as the iconic 1955 live performance with Mary Martin as Peter Pan.
In talking with TheWrap, Seth Meyers said, “We feel pretty strongly that I’m two shows away from cutting ties.” That should make the Super Bowl weekend show with Melissa McCarthy Meyers’ swan song.
You can stop worrying about the future of your show, Parks & Recreation fans. NBC chief Bob Greenblatt told the Television Critics Association that there will be a seventh season though that’s not an official renewal. Greenblatt was also optimistic about Community but would not offer as optimistic an outlook.

Enjoying another sunny day at work, Kate Hudson and Zach Braff showed up on the set of their upcoming indie film "Wish I Was Here" on Wednesday (August 21).
The "Raising Helen" beauty and "Scrubs" hunk enjoyed each others company as they shot a few scenes.
Meanwhile, Kate is dealing with a situation involving an abortion clinic used photos of her in their advertisements.
The Orland, Florida clinic made headlines over giving coupons for $50 for abortions on Sunday's only to women on welfare. The coupons featured Kate's face and the clinic posted videos on YouTube with more photos for $100 off of abortions.
Miss Hudson's rep, Brad Cafarelli, spoke out about the situation and states that not only does she not support the late-term abortion business, but the clinic had no permission to use the photo what's so ever.
"I can confirm that this use is unauthorized and we had no knowledge of it,...

After what has been a season filled with lots of talk and little action, the return of Hannah McKay gave a breath of life to tonight's episode of Dexter.
"Dress Code" was easily the best episode thus far of Dexter season 8.
Hannah's return complicates Deb's relationship with herself. Just as she's getting back to normal following killing Laguerta and being complicit in the murder of the supposed brain surgeon, she's faced with the choice of letting Hannah live and always wondering when and if Hannah will turn on Dexter or kill Debra herself... or killing the murderer who stole her brother's heart.
But more than Hannah's return complicates things for Deb, it really screws things up for Dexter. He knows that Deb isn't safe as long as Hannah is alive, but can he kill one of the only people who knows him and loves him despite the darkness inside? Especially when he still loves her?...

We're still mourning "One Tree Hill" here at Zap2it, but elsewhere, the cast members are moving on. Sophia Bush will soon be seen on CBS's "Partners," Rob Buckley has a key role on ABC's "666 Park Avenue"... and now fan favorite star Bethany Joy Lenz has booked her first post-"Oth" television role.
Zap2it has learned exclusively that Lenz, who played Haley James Scott for nine seasons, will guest star on TBS's "Men At Work" as a hot mom. (It's a role she's pretty familiar with -- both from "Oth" and, you know... life.)
Tyler -- played by Michael Cassidy of "The O.C." fame -- is entering the "new frontier" of dating moms, so he takes interest in the recently divorced Meg (Lenz), who has two very young kids. He's totally digging her... but unfortunately for Meg, she quickly realizes that dating Tyler is a lot like having a third child on her hands.

The L.A. Complex
It’s no secret that I am tired of coming out stories, but I am really enjoying Kal’s struggle with his sexuality. Maybe because even though it’s riddled with the usual clichés, it’s somewhat different in that it’s being told with a person of color This is a definite rarity and we’re getting a glimpse into the world of rap and how that plays into Kal’s hatred over his sexuality. It helps that Andra Fuller is doing a wonderful job in the role.
I loved his initial scene with the doctor where he saw to it that he didn’t have to leave the hospital and face the world again by confessing his continued suicidal thoughts, but I was disappointed that we didn’t get more interaction with Kal, his doctor and the other people in the hospital.

One Tree Hill wraps up nine emotional seasons Wednesday night with a two-hour series finale on the CW. I’ll admit that it really will be hard to say goodbye.
I was a high school freshman when One Tree Hill debuted on the then-wb network in September 2003. Like brainy Haley James Scott (Bethany Joy Galeotti) and baby-faced Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray), I was navigating my way through teen angst. I tuned in because I had a Dawson’s Creek-size hole in my schedule and I would do just about anything not to do my English homework.

One Tree Hill is coming to an end, and so is star Bethany Joy Galeotti's marriage, unfortunately. The tube star, who plays Haley James Scott on the CW series, announced on her blog on Monday that she and her musician hubby, Michael Galeotti, are getting a divorce and she plans to take her maiden name again. "As most of you know, as much as I love to share with you the magic of ordinary days, I am also very private about my personal life. In fact, the only reason I'm saying anything about this at all is because you'll all be wondering soon why everyone is calling me 'Bethany Joy Lenz' again," she wrote. We’ve got nine new photos from the upcoming episode of One Tree Hill, “A Rush of Blood to the Head.”
The stills feature some very touching photos with Austin Nichols as Julian. Also pictured in the gallery are Sophia Bush as Brooke Davis, Bethany Joy Galeotti as Haley James Scott, Devin McGee as Xavier, Tyler Hilton as Chris Keller and Stephen Colletti as Chase.
The episode was directed by Greg Prange and written by Johnny Richardson.
In “A Rush of Blood to the Head”
Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) receives news of a possible tragedy. Dan’s (Paul Johansson) search for Nathan (James Lafferty) leads him back to his dark past. Clay (Robert Buckley) has a breakthrough in his treatment. Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Julian (Austin Nichols) deal with Xavier (guest star Devin McGee). Chase’s (Stephen Colletti) concern for Chuck (guest star Michael May) pushes him to his limits.

Raw
I actually enjoyed Raw this past week. I don’t know if the show has gotten better or if the things that have annoyed me before didn’t bother me as much. Or maybe it was watching Jojo get fired that made it worth watching. I think I actually cheered when Geoff and Fiona lowered the boom. She should have been out on her butt weeks ago, and I think she was given far too much slack before she was finally let go. I’m sure she’ll get herself together and get her job back before the series come to a close next week, though if it were my restaurant, she’d never be coming back. But that’s just me.
It was nice also to see Pavel return if only to finally get some story movement on that front. I may not love the character,...

Before watching tonight's 'One Tree Hill, browse our gallery of Haley's nine-year journey, including new quotes from Bethany Joy Galeotti. Tutor Girl. Baby Mama. Kelly Clarkson. Yes, Haley James Scott has gone by many different names during her nine seasons on One Tree Hill -- and I've loved every one of them. During a recent visit to the show's North Carolina set, HollywoodLife.com chatted with Bethany Joy Galeotti about all things Haley, and it got me thinking about just how far she's come. "I'm happy with Haley, what she’s been through and where she's come," Bethany says of heading into the show's final season. "What more could [the fans] ask for than to see everybody kind of come back to where they started, back to why everyone fell in love with the show in the first place?" I couldn't agree more. [gallery] Ok, let's talk about Haley: Do you prefer her as a big-city rocker,...

Neighbours
Not much to say here, other than I thought the scenes of a drugged out Chris revealing his innermost thoughts to be cute and funny. We don’t get to see Chris in comedic moments very often, but James Mason handled it well. I thought it was interesting how Chris prattled on about how much he liked Aiden, clearly a setup for their forthcoming romance. I’m not sure if Chris and Aiden have much chemistry, but then again, it hasn’t had a chance to develop yet. I guess we’ll see as the story moves forward.
Hollyoaks
I really think Hollyoaksdropped the ball in regards to Brendan’s handling of Declan. It’s true that Declan shouldn’t develop Brendan’s less than desirable habits and Brendan should deter that behavior in his son. But the show seems to be saying Brendan can...

Is One Tree Hill looking to go out with a bang or a pretty wrapped bow as it ends its 9th season? From all indications from the two-minute teaser which jump-starts this final season, and from the cryptic remarks of the cast and creator, fans better be prepared to break out the Kleenex. The body under a white sheet in the morgue make be the best clue, but given the number of tears shed at a special sneak peek screening of One Tree Hill’s 9th season opener by the cast last week, one of the show’s beloved characters is not going to make it through the season.
