Berniece Janssen was born on May 11, 1910 in Naponee, Nebraska, USA. She was an actress, known for Love Minus One (1972), 87th Precinct (1961) and The D.A.'s Man (1959). She was married to Eugene Ashley Janssen and Harold Edward Meyer. She died on November 26, 1995 in Woodland Hills, California, USA.
She got her start on stage in New York as one of the Ziegfeld Girls and was a member of the Ziegfeld Club, a charitable organization originally comprised largely of Ziegfeld Follies alumnae and founded by Florenz Ziegfeld Jr.'s widow Billie Burke in1936 for the purpose of helping women succeed in musical theater.
Reminiscing at the 25th anniversary dinner of the Ziegfeld Club, of which she was a member, she joked, "I remember my costume. It was mainly a large hat."
