While everyone continues to gush over The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow – and rightfully so – it’s important that we not overlook another DC TV show that consistently knocks it out of the park but doesn’t feature superheroes. I am, of course, referring to iZombie. Heck, if you need further evidence aside from tuning in to any given episode, give our five-star review a look.
One aspect that has certainly given season 3 a big boost is that of the increased role of Peyton Charles, played by the talented actress Aly Michalka. Having a diverse filmography under her belt, it’s no wonder that she’s able to switch from being Liv Moore’s best friend to a tough as nails assistant district attorney on a dime.

iZombie's Blaine DeBeers (David Anders) has been, at times, one of the best villains on TV. In season three, however, Blaine's villain status has been put on hold as he claims to have lost his memory and appears to be starting life over as a kinder, gentler Blaine who might just win Peyton's (Aly Michalka) heart. It's somehow easy to root for sweet lounge singer Blaine to be telling the truth about his memory loss, despite the fact that it means Major (Robert Buckley) is about to lose all his memories after taking the cure at the end of last week's episode. Old Blaine was just so evil, and new Blaine just seems so nice, and Peyton seems so happy. When we last saw Blaine, Ravi (Rahul...

"iZombie" wrapped up a really entertaining first season tonight, and I have a few thoughts on the finale, followed by a lot of thoughts from executive producers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright, coming up just as soon as I am to serotonin what Milton Hershey was to chocolate... "iZombie" is a show with a lot of moving parts, and "Blaine's World" was no different in that regard. It not only gave us a pretty thorough accounting of the Case of the Week — albeit one connected to all the business with Max Rager, which looks to be the main thrust of season 2 — but had to leave room for Major to go full-on Travis Bickel with the zombies at Meat Cute (scored to '80s synth classic "Der Komissar"), and for several reversals in terms of who would stay a zombie, who would be cured, and who might just die. Liv giving...

Mumbai, March 26: The Congress party "is out of shape right now", but "the Congress is Congress," said party candidate and Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, who wants to be part of "the movement to bring the Congress back to its days of glory".
The actor will contest Lok Sabha election from his Jaunpur hometown in Uttar Pradesh.
"One day out of the blue I got a call from Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi. When they said they need me in the party, I was deeply touched. At heart, I've always been a Congress man," said Ravi.
"Yes, the party is out of shape right now. That doesn't mean it is defunct. Rajesh Khanna had become.

The most popular albeit tragic love story never fails to get the filmmakers’ interest. This week the age old Shakespearean saga gets rendered onscreen once again by Manish Tiwary as Issaq . Manish, who had quite impressed us with his Dil Dosti etc, brings to us a desi, bloodshed filled love story of Rahul and Bachi (aka Romeo and Juliet) from the land of Benaras.
The story outline is pretty much the same with the Montagues and Capulets being replaced by the Mishras and Kashyaps warring on the holy banks of the Ganges. The two families, sworn enemies, need no reason to pull the trigger at one another. Amidst all this animosity, Rahul (Prateik Babbar) and Bachi (Amyra Dastur) fall in love with each other – a love story amidst the fight for power with tragedy written all over it.
The bigger tragedy however, is the disaster spun in the name of adaption of a classic.
