- He graduated from Marmara University's Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. Starting from 1993, he worked at various television channels as a program producer, documentary director, and channel manager. In 2003, he established his own company and began working as a producer. The series "Yamak Ahmet" has been produced for 60 episodes and is the first historical Ramadan series made in Turkey. It has also been shown on television channels in many Arab countries, receiving high ratings. He then produced the 21-episode series "A Yusuf Tale," another historical drama set during the Ottoman period. The series "Seddülbahir 32 Hours" is a war drama that depicts the first 32 hours of ground battles on the Gallipoli front during World War I. "Seddülbahir 32 Hours" holds a special place among all war films made in Turkey, both for its battle scenes and its cast. Most recently, he prepared the "Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi" series as a launch project for TRT Digital, adapting it into a 30-episode format suitable for digital platforms.
Since all his works are historical series, he did not only work as a producer. He also designed all the series he prepared. For the "Yamak Ahmet" series, he designed and constructed the Ottoman palace kitchen and the harem sections of the palace. For the war series, he built the now non-existent Gallipoli fortifications and front-line designs. For his most recent "Mevlana" series, he designed and constructed the 13th-century city of Konya in today's Konya. Known as the International Konya Film Sets, this location spans 330 acres and consists of 115 architectural structures, 15 of which are monumental buildings such as palaces, mosques, madrasas, inns, observatories, and hospitals, and it still serves the film industry today.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Okur Film
