Ben Affleck plays an accountant with some special skills and special challenges in the mystery/action thriller The Accountant. Directed by Gavin O’Connor, what makes The Accountant different from other high-body count thrillers is the protagonist at its center, an autistic math savant. Christian Wolff (Affleck) is brilliant with numbers but has trouble with social interactions. His social difficulties look like autism spectrum, possibly the high-functioning type that used to be called Asperger’s, but his unusual upbringing by his brutal military operative father, designed to help him ward off bullies, has equipped him with skills in martial arts and weapons.

The annual WWE Slammy awards are a bit of a novelty, a light hearted reflection upon the year in pro wrestling. In the past it has mainly been rigged by WWE as a narrative device. Just like the WWE title, a Slammy is just a prop. But even then, a win is a win, there’s a degree of prestige involved, and often the awards will represent the right decision.
This year, fans will vote on the awards, using social media to help decide the winners. In theory, that should make the 2015 Slammys a credible occasion.
There’s seventeen categories, with nominees picked by WWE, and the following is what to expect when it comes to the winners.
17. Lol Moment Of The Year WWE.com
Nominees: Edge and Christian bring back the kazoo on Raw. (September 7th)
The Bushwhackers’ (Bushwhacker Butch and Bushwhacker Luke) WWE Hall of Fame induction speech.

Christian is one of the few Attitude Era stars that is still with WWE all these years later. Except for a three year stint in Tna Wrestling — from 2005 to 2008 — Christian has been a part of the WWE since his debut in 1998. He’s achieved some remarkable milestones in his time with the company, becoming a 9-time Tag Team Champion and a 2-time World Heavyweight Champion.
However, in the last few years, Christian’s career has slowed and may have now come to a screeching halt. On the March 24th edition of Raw, the former Captain Charisma competed in and won a fatal four match to determine a number one contender for the Intercontinental title. He was then set to face off with then-champion, Big E. However, the bout never took place as Christian suffered a mild concussion.
Since that time, the so-called Instant Classic has been recovering from the injury.

Just six days from the biggest party of the summer in La, WWE rolled into the Golden State capital of Sacramento for Raw. Was it a California dream of a go home show? Or a party pooper as we head into Staples Center this Sunday? Well, let’s break it down and I’ll give my thoughts.
The night begins with Daniel Bryan making his way to the ring to compete in a rematch with Wade Barrett. Daniel Bryan, with rally towel in hand (somewhere the former Ricky Ortiz is complaining of gimmick infringement) and wearing The Beard Is Here shirt as it is announced that Brad Maddox is the special guest referee. There wasn’t much to this match as the story was Maddox does a quick three count giving Barrett a victory. Bryan attempts to go after Maddox, but the Raw General Manager quickly exits the ring heading up the ramp.

Christian Bale has "had enough" of playing Batman, it has been suggested. The actor reprises his role as Batman/Bruce Wayne for the third time in The Dark Knight Rises, and his co-star Matthew Modine hinted that he may not be sorry to leave the role behind. "I think Christian may have had enough," Modine told E Online. "You don't want to become a sort of parody of what it is." Modine went on to compare Bale's role to Sean Connery's tenure as James Bond, saying: "There was a point when you wished (more)...

Chicago – The morality of conflict is brought to form in the new film, “Where Do We Go Now?,” written and directed by Nadine Labaki. This is a speculative fable about a small town in Lebanon that lives in harmony, as long as they are stay away from religious battles that plague the rest of the country. The town loves their peace, and the women there want to keep it that way.
Nadine Labaki is a native of Lebanon, and grew with the continuous warfare associated with the country. Her escape was the television screen, where she both observed the outside world and absorbed all the films she could rent. This led to a lifelong interest in making movies, and she received her degree in film studies at Beirut’s Saint-Joseph University. Her final year project, “11 Rue Pasteur,” won the 1998 best short film at the Biennale of Arabic Cinema in Paris.
