- Graduate of Clark Atlanta University and has a Bachelor of Arts in Television and Film Production.
- Learned the foundations of film production under Cinematography Instructor, Dr. Herbert Eichelberger who taught the likes of Spike Lee and Bryan Barber.

- Landed his first supporting-lead role in the Independent faith-based film, Measure of a Man. Palmer played Mark Smith, a loving family man who comforts his wife through her pregnancy.
