Great American Community, the free direct-to-consumer app from Great American Media, has set its slate for next month’s launch with 15 original shortform series featuring well-known TV hosts, presenters and actors. The app debuts Monday, September 26, with multiple episodes of all series available on day one and new episodes premiering on regularly scheduled days throughout the year.
Series headliners include Danica McKellar, Cameron Mathison, Jill Wagner, Trevor Donovan, Debbie Matenopoulos, Lauren Makk, Kym Douglas, Larissa Wohl, Emily Hutchinson, Lawrence Zarian, Shirley Bovshow, Maria Provenzano, Jamie Tarence, Mahaila McKellar, and Lizzy Mathis. Additional hosts and series will be announced in the coming months.
Tracy Verna, Laura Pierson, and Michael Hinkley (Home & Family) serve as executive producers.

When Great American Media’s free app, Great American Community, launches on Sept. 26, it will introduce viewers to 15 original short-form series, each headlined by well-known lifestyle experts and TV stars.
On launch day, multiple episodes of all series will be available. New episodes will premiere on regularly scheduled days throughout the year, with no offseason.

“Echo,” a new MCU series starring Alaqua Cox, has begun production, Disney has announced.
The series is a spinoff of last year’s Disney+ Marvel show “Hawkeye,” which featured the debut of Cox as Maya Lopez. Created by David Mack and Joe Quesada in 1999 as a supporting character for the superhero Daredevil, Maya Lopez, aka Echo, is a deaf Cheyenne woman with Olympic level athletic skills and the ability to perfectly copy people’s movement. In “Hawkeye,” the character was depicted as the leader of the Tracksuit Mafia, a gang of criminals working under Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio). The series will see Maya leave New York for her hometown, where she reconnects with her roots and ends up at the center of a new crisis.
