Imran Khan essays a Muslim character for the first time in the forthcoming Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara. Conventionally seen as an urban lover boy in his earlier films, his first-ever mass role of Aslam promises to make him as much a favorite in the Muslim community as his uncle (Aamir).
The actor will sport a Firoza, a blue stone that Salman Khan has been wearing for three years now. While Salman wears his Firoza embedded in a silver bracelet, Imran will wear it in a different form.
Wearing the Firoza stone is holy among Muslims and Imran feels good about owning one now. He is believed to have sourced it from Bhopal, his hometown.
Set in the 1980s, the actor in some scenes in the film, he will even be seen in a Pathani suit.
He also studied some actors from the 80s and 90s to get the right feel for Aslam,...

Cast: Arshad Warsi, Dia Mirza, Sandhya Mridul, Boman Irani, Zehra Naqvi, Shernaz Patel, Tinu Anand, Javed Sheikh, Asawari Joshi, Rituraj Singh, Ashwin Kumar, Neelu Kohli and others; Director: Kabeer Kaushik; Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
A completely clunky story..you wouldn’t want to watch this immediately after Karthik Calling Karthik. Many similarities to the story, there is a shrink Shernaz Patel that Arshad Warsi visits here and Shefali Shah in the previous film. It’s Dia Mirza instead of Deepika Padukone lending a helping hand to her boyfriend after realizing that he’s suffering.
