Several people sent this site to me this week (including my old co-worker David Laster). It's called Subzin and it describes itself as a place to "find phrases from movies and series." Basically you type in a movie quote, and it tells you what quote the movie appears in. They all seemed to think it was the sort of thing I'd get a kick out of. They were right.
The site's fairly new and it's far from comprehensive. For example, if you type in the immortal line "I'm a cop, you idiot!" Subzin brings back "The Ring," but not "Kindergarten Cop." And let's face it, with famous quotes, you probably already know what movie they're from anyway; you don't need a website to tell you where "Rosebud," came from. But where Subzin is useful, or at least a lot of fun to waste time with, is in tracking cliches. Type...
