Brad William Henke, the former Denver Bronco lineman who played prison guard Desi Piscatella on “Orange Is the New Black,” died in his sleep on Tuesday at age 56.
His manager, Matt DelPiano said in a statement released to the media on Thursday, “Brad was an incredibly kind man of joyous energy. A very talented actor, he loved being a part of this community… and we loved him back. Our thoughts are with his wife and family.”
A cause of death has not yet been released.

Frank Vallelonga Jr., an actor who appeared in “Green Book” and “The Sopranos,” died Monday of unknown causes in the Bronx, New York, the NYPD confirmed to TheWrap. He was 60.
Police responded to a 3:50 a.m. call reporting that a body had been dumped outside of a factory near 1243 Oak Point Ave. The man, who was later identified as Vallelonga Jr., was found unconscious and pronounced dead at the scene. No obvious signs of trauma were observed on the body, said a spokesperson for the NYPD.

Clarence Gilyard Jr., a prolific actor best known for his pivotal, series-long role on “Walker, Texas Ranger” and for his scene-stealing turn as Theo, the heist crew’s hacker in “Die Hard,” died Monday following a long illness. He was 66.
In addition to his acclaimed career, Gilyard was a professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Nick Holly, who worked in the entertainment industry as a writer, producer and literary agent and manager, has died at the age of 51, according to multiple media reports. Holly died Nov. 21 at his home in Santa Monica after battling lung cancer.

Nick Holly and Fred Goss have signed a two-year overall deal at Touchstone Television. The duo created and serve as executive producers on ABC's midseason comedy series Sons & Daughters, from NBC Universal Television Studio and Broadway Video Television. Goss also stars in that show, which centers on three adult siblings. Under the deal with Touchstone, Holly and Goss said they're looking to initially focus on comedy projects in the style of "Sons & Daughters," a single-camera partially improvised comedy, but are looking to do projects in several different formats.
