Handler posted a collage of pictures of her and Bravo and wrote: “I loved this nugget in a big way, and I took great pleasure in how many people loved him as much as I did and do. @chuybravo gave us so much laughter and I’ll never forget the sound of his laughter coming from his office into mine. The final episode of "Chelsea Lately" on E! served mainly as a reminder that, no, Ms. Handler isn't actually going away. The "My Horizontal Life" author will be headed to Netflix for her next talk show venture, but she still splurged on a fantastic sendoff special that culminated in a tremendous "We are the World" type mega-song with tons and tons of guest-stars. Look around in that crowd. Our eyes detect Sandra Bullock, Kathy Griffin, Gerard Butler, Diablo Cody, Melissa McCarthy, Miley Cyrus, Joel McHale, and Tim Allen. And then a hundred or so others. But who ruled this star-studded goodbye? We picked the top five contributors. 5. Tim Gunn Even though the "Project Runway" guru spoke-sang his contribution, it was still tuneful and adorable. He's like a gay Yul Brynner up there. 4. Marlee Matlin Marlee Matlin was S-e-l-l-i-n-g that Asl translation at the right-hand corner of the screen. Pure ebullience from start to finish.

Chelsea Handler has come under fire after staging a Hitler parody on her E! late night talk show Chelsea Lately.
Chelsea Handler's Hitler Parody
Germany’s World Cup victory Sunday has given comedians the chance to use the country’s checkered past – namely during the Holocaust – for joke material. Handler, known for toeing the line on what is or isn’t appropriate, was no exception. For her bit, the comedian had her trusty sidekick Chuy Brava dress up like Adolf Hitler.
The Anti-Defamation League’s Abraham Foxman may have let the parody slide, but felt that Handler allowed herself and her comic cohorts to take the gag too far. At one point, one of Handler’s fellow comedians quipped, “I'm a Jew, but I'm still glad Germany won. It's nice for them to have something gold that they didn't pry out of my grandfather's mouth."

Chelsea Handler’s Adolf Hitler parody on her E! Last spring, ABC aired a new celebrity water competition called Splash. Was it a ratings success? Has it been cancelled or will it be back for a second season later this summer?
Based on a Dutch series, the Splash TV show pits celebrities against one another in a diving competition that includes backflips, somersaults, and high dives. Hosted by Joey Lawrence and Charissa Thompson, the celebrities are coached by Greg Louganis and judged by Steve Foley and David Boudia. Contestants in season one were Keshia Knight Pulliam, Chuy Bravo, Ndamukong Suh, Kendra Wilkinson, Katherine Webb, Louie Anderson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Brandi Chastain, Drake Bell, Nicole Eggert, and Rory Bushfield.
Many performers are willing to give their all for an audience and this show's participants had plenty of injuries over the course of the eight weeks. Unfortunately, fewer and fewer people tuned in to watch each week.

It appears that Chelsea Handler might be leaving "Chelsea Lately" after her contract with E! expires this year, which raises a couple of questions: 1) Did she simply run out of intrusive things to ask Chuy? 2) What's she going to do next? The first answer is unknowable, but the second is clear: probably a lot. I assume a couple of books will be on the immediate horizon, and she's almost certainly courting offers for hosting shows on major networks. But in case she wants to choose a less expected path to continued prominence, we have her covered. Here are our seven suggestions for Chelsea's next move. 1. She always finds a way to raise eyebrows, and last night (February 13) Chelsea Handler celebrated Valentine’s Day a little early on “Chelsea Lately.”
The blonde comedienne explained, “I always like to give the gift that keeps on giving. That's why each year I sleep with someone who does not have herpes. I know people struggle with what to get their lover on V-Day, but I've had some very thoughtful boyfriends in the past.”
She added, "I will never forget the year one of my suitors surprised me with a box of chocolate-covered eight balls. In seventh grade...the local rabbi gave me my first edible, kosher condom. But today, Chuy has not only gotten me a spectacular gift, he's made one of my lifelong dreams come true! Here to serenade me with 'Achy Breaky Heart,' Billy Ray Cyrus!"

Irving Azoff has officially come on board Team Handler. The manager had been advising Chelsea Handler unofficially, such as arranging for Pharrell Williams to write the current theme song for Chelsea Lately, E!'s top-rated late-night show. "I've known Irving for a while -- actually, since he auditioned for [Chelsea Lately sidekick] Chuy's job," Handler said in a characteristically cheeky statement. "I know he's primarily a music manager, so just to stop the rumors before they start … I won't be dropping an album. The host of E!’s top-rated late night talker Chelsea Lately, Handler is positioning herself for life after her current contract expires at the end of 2014. “I have many more things I want to achieve – in addition to my nightly show, of course. She's out of rehab and back in the spotlight.
A fresh-faced Lindsay Lohan took over for E! star Chelsea Handler on last night's episode of "Chelsea Lately," and in her opening monologue jokingly thanked a few very special people: "the celebrities who kept the tabloid industry alive in my absence."
Watch on to see the "Canyons" star skewer the scandal-spawning likes of Anthony Weiner, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber. The Royal Baby -- played to uncanny perfection by Handler sidekick Chuy -- also gets a shout-out.
While LiLo may never regain her youthful "Mean Girls" glow, she's on point here. That "lovely, court-ordered vacation in Malibu" did her a world of good!

Sobriety suits Lindsay Lohan. She hosted "Chelsea Lately" on Monday (Aug. 5) and reminded us all that once upon a time, Lindsay Lohan was going to be the next big actress.
She was funny!
However much Lohan has kept the tabloids in business over the past few years, she might just be more entertaining sober. If the actress can keep up performances like her Chelsea Handler-substitute job, then the rehab-Lindsay is the right Lindsay.
During the show, Lohan and her fellow panelists -- Brad Wollack, Fortune Feimster and Jen Kirkman (and of course Chuy) -- systematically mocked Harry Styles, Justin Bieber and Kristen Stewart. Dylan Bruce, better known as "Hot Paul" from "Orphan Black," stopped in for an interview as well.
All of this was liberally sprinkled with Lohan-directed humor. Whatever her faults, you can't say that Lindsay Lohan won't laugh at herself.

Chalk it up to the benefit of lowered expectations: Lindsay Lohan guest-hosted Chelsea Lately last night, and it was one of her best television appearance in the past few years.
Of course, that’s not saying much. But compared to her Matt Lauer interview/Saturday Night Live hosting gig in March 2012, where it seemed like nerves got the best of her, the actress looked healthy, landed a few good punchlines and, most encouragingly for Lohan fans, appeared genuinely happy to be in front of a camera that wasn’t tracking her movements in and out of a courthouse.

Lindsay Lohan left Cliffside Malibu Tuesday night, looking happy and healthy upon completion of her 3-month rehab stint. So what's next? A whole lot, actually—beginning with a guest-hosting stint on Chelsea Lately Aug. 5. Yep, Linds will show off her comedy chops on the late-night show, hang with Chuy and finally be the interviewer, not the interviewee. She'll also be catching up with Oprah Winfrey, giving the media mogul an in-depth interview about her time in rehab. And that's not all! Own is producing an eight-part docu-series chronicling Lindsay on her mission to rebuild her career and stay sober. She's got some movie promoting to do as well. The Canyons opens Aug. 2, and despite...

With the winner of ABC’s reality diving competition announced, Chuy Bravo is free to openly talk about his incredibly brief appearance on the show. “Splash” may not have had quite the effect producers were looking for but we’re loving Chuy just a bit more for the honesty and vulnerability he showed on screen. An example of the fun-loving comedian in a less-than-strong state was featured in the promo itself when we heard his familiar Mexican accent state: “Seriously, I don’t even know how to swim.” Unfortunately for Chuy Bravo, an injury to his heel made him withdraw from the competition in week two. Now, fans and critics are waiting to hear what’s next for the pint-sized sidekick, so we’re looking at his past, present and future for the 10 things you didn’t know about Chuy Bravo.

Nicole Eggert may have been bruised and swollen after a dive last week, but on Splash Tuesday night she appeared unscathed and smiling.
A triumphant Eggert, 41, scored an 8.25 in her latest dive with her junior diving champ, earning her the chance to compete again next week. And the former Baywatch star showed no signs of nerves.
"Thanks for all the love!" she Tweeted early Wednesday morning after the episode aired. "Having the time of my life!"
Eggert downplayed the seriousness of her injuries last week, though her mishap was just the latest of several on the reality competition.

Also .Chelsea Lately. assistant Chuy Bravo was the first to leave that ABC series after fracturing his foot during practice. Former pro-skier Rory Bushfield ruptured an eardrum during a practice dive, and pageant queen Katherine Webb quit the series due to injury too. ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" is dealing with their seasonal list of injuries too, with former Olympian Dorothy Hamill and reality "wife" Lisa Van der Pump suffering different injuries during the rehearsals. ABC‘s new injury-plagued Splash isn’t the only reality diving show hampered by safety concerns. Xinhua News Agency reports 18-year-old Peng Jiaxuan, assistant to martial artist/contestant Shi Xiaolong on China’s Celebrity Splash China, drowned in a pool during a training session April 19. The show broadcast on China’s Zhejiang TV and ABC’s Splash are both spin-offs of the original Dutch format. The death happened a day after Us Splash contestant Nicole Eggert was injured on the set of ABC’s American version and subsequently hospitalized. In recent weeks fellow contestant Rory Bushfield ruptured an eardrum and Louie Anderson suffered bruised ribs in training, while show-related injuries forced Katherine Webb and Chuy Bravo to quit the show in its first month on the air.
