Robert J. Dowling, the former editor-in-chief and publisher of The Hollywood Reporter, is among seven honorees who will be recognized Wednesday by ShowEast. They are to be honored for serving the motion picture industry with distinction when they are inducted into the ShowEast Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame Luncheon, an annual event since 1999, will take place at the Orlando Marriott World Center and is sponsored by DLP Cinema. This year's other inductees are Royce Brimage, Joe Kennedy, Hal McClure, Larry Hanson, Tony Rhead and Ronald Krueger Sr. Clark Woods, president of domestic distribution at MGM, and David Garel, exec vp and general sales manager at Sony Pictures Releasing, who are the committee chairs, will preside over the induction.
