As a 5 year old he saw Peter and the Dragon three times consecutively which left him dazed and confused for quite a bit. 18 years later Guinness' ad 'Surfer' blew him away and made him want to do 'the job of
the person who makes the image look great'. He moved from Belgium to the UK
to study cinematography at the London Film School and quickly moved to shooting commercials all over.
Michel is a keen photographer too.
