Don’t expect to see Dylan Minnette on your television screens any time soon. The 13 Reasons Why star opened up about his decision to step away from his acting career in order to redirect his passion toward music in a recent interview on the Zach Sang Show.
“I was very fortunate to find success in it,” Minnette said of acting. “We’ve always worked a ton, and then I was on 13 Reasons Why, and it was really popular and definitely reached a peak in what I’ve had in acting.

Happy Model day! On Friday, Wallows released their third studio album Model, and celebrated its drop by sharing the video for the LP’s standout, “You (Show Me Where My Days Went).”
The Nina Ljeti-directed video sees the trio — Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston — throwing paint on walls, ripping off wallpaper, and demolishing the inside of an apartment, but with the destruction playing in reverse. At the start, the three guys stand inside a completely damaged apartment, and as the video continues, the room returns to its original state.

Sometimes, in life, certain people can’t help but be working late because they’re singers. And sometimes, on very rare occasions, their give a fucks go on vacation, and they have no choice but to Mountain Dew it for you. All three of these things happened to Wallows when they stopped by SiriusXM’s Alt Nation to perform an acoustic version of Sabrina Carpenter’s caffeinated pop hit “Espresso.”
But Wallows’ take on “Espresso” wasn’t a straightforward cover. Toward the end of the song, the band — made up of Dylan Minnette,...

Their album isn’t out yet, but the boys of Wallows are ready to play it live. In arenas.
Rolling Stone can exclusively announce that Wallows — the alt-rock band made up of Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston — will release its third album Model on May 24. On the 12-track LP, the trio lets go of the “anxious tendencies” of their past music, resulting in what they believe is their lightest project yet.

The irony of Bob Clark's 1983 film "A Christmas Story" was that it was initially intended to be a satire, a wicked deconstruction of the placid, false, Normal Rockwell-ian idyll of 1950s Americana. Christmastime was not a time of peace and ease in "A Christmas Story," but a bitter world of selfishness, childhood greed, bullying, and disappointment. Over the years, "A Christmas Story" grew in estimation to such a degree that it now is run in Holiday-season 24-hour marathons on certain cable TV stations. What was once meant to dismantle nostalgia is now just a new generation's nostalgia.
The film was adapted to a stage musical in 2009, which was, in turn, broadcast on live TV in 2017. Some who pay close attention will also have noted that 2012 saw the release of the straight-to-video "A Christmas Story 2," with actor Braeden Lemasters playing a teenage version of Ralphie, the star of the first film,...

"Does your mother know you're going down there on a Friday night?" Abramorama has released the first trailer for a hazy, indie drama titled Flock of Four, the feature directorial debut of director Gregory Caruso. We haven't heard much about this yet, but it actually seems like a nifty story for a film, and it looks pretty darn good. Set over the course of one night in 1959, the film follows four best friend teens who drive around Los Angeles searching for one of their music idols, legendary jazz musician Pope Dixon (a fictional character inspired by real musicians), as played by Reg E. Cathey (who passed away in February). The cast includes Braeden Lemasters, Uriah Shelton, Isaac Jay, and Dylan Riley Snyder as the friends, as well as Shane Harper, Coco Jones, and Nadji Jeter. I like the vintage look and feel to this. Take a look. Here's the first...

The cast includes Stuart Townsend, Hannah Ware, Henry Thomas, Chris Johnson, Wendy Moniz, Braeden Lemasters, Elizabeth McLaughlin, and James Cromwell.

ABC hasn't had ratings success on Sundays at 10pm in awhile. Pan Am, 666 Park Avenue, Gcb, and Red Widow were all cancelled. Will Betrayal be a different story and end up renewed for a second season? Time will tell.

A Christmas Story 2 is the “official sequel” to the original Christmas classic that is rightfully going straight to Blu-ray/DVD on October 30th and will hopefully be forgotten immediately.
Directed by Brian Levant (Jingle All the Way), A Christmas Story 2 stars Braeden Lemasters (Easy A) as Ralphie with Stacey Travis (Ghost World) playing the mother and Daniel Stern (Home Alone) as the Old Man. The trailer looks really bad, it’s like a checklist of things they want you to remember from the first movie – then why not just watch that again? Now I’m angry.

It's the gift that keeps on giving... for Warner Brothers, that is! As we reported last month, a new direct-to-dvd sequel to the holiday classic A Christmas Story is hitting stores this October. The official trailer has arrived online this week and it looks like a complete train wreck. Braeden Lemasters (Men of a Certain Age) is playing an older, dorkier version of Ralphie without any of the pathos, while Daniel Stern plays a gruff, unfunny Old Man. Pratfalls abound, and adding insult to injury, they've gone out of their way to call this an "official sequel"... a bit of a stretch considering that writer Jean Shepherd died back in 1999. A Christmas Story 2 hits stores on October 30th; check out the trailer after the jump.

We previously told you that Warner Bros decided to shut down Warner Premiere, it's straight-to-video division. But before the doors close for good, Warner Premiere will release "A Christmas Story 2." The film is being advertised as the official sequel to the 1983 Christmas classic, and once again revolves around Ralphie (Braeden Lemasters), who is now a teenager and has his sights set on a new toy for Christmas: a 1938 Hupmobile Skyline Convertible. Daniel Stern plays the father. "A Christmas Story 2" will hit stores on DVD and Blu-ray on October 30th. Check out the trailer below. Trailer:...

I don't know who thought that it would be a good idea to make a sequel to the classic 1983 film A Christmas Story, but it looks terrible. If they wanted a sequel they could have at least made a good film! A Christmas Story 2 is being labeled an "Official Sequel". Back in 1994 another sequel was attempted called It Runs in the Family, which later released on DVD under the title My Summer Story. That was a crappy sequel as well.
Here's the Synopsis:
The original, traditional, one-hundred-percent, red-blooded, two-fisted, All-American Christmas continues five years later, with Ralphie (Braeden Lemasters), Randy (Valin Shinyei), Mom (Stacey Travis), and the Old Man (Daniel Stern). This time, Ralphie has his eyes fixed on a car. But trouble is sure to follow.

Ever wondered what happened to Ralphie from A Christmas Story? Of course you didn't, but that didn't stop Warner Bros. from cooking up a sequel to the beloved holiday classic. The sequel is going straight to BluRay and will arrive on October 30, just days before the Broadyway musical adaptation of the 1983 classic. The sequel follows Ralphie as a teenager who has clearly upgraded his wish list in the new film as he yearns for a 1938 Hupmobile Skyline convertible. Some things haven't changed though. Triple dog dares and Ralphie's dad, played here by Daniel Stern, are carried over from the first film. A Christmas Story 2 stars Braeden Lemasters (Easy A) as Ralphie. Are you looking forward to seeing this sequel or are you already loading up your Red Ryder Bb gun to...

"Given the continuing decline in the direct-to-video film market, the decision was made to close Warner Premiere," Warner Bros said in a statement. "The division will continue and complete production on its remaining film and digital series projects into the fall." Warner Premiere was behind "Lost Boys: The Tribe" and "Lost Boys: The Thirst," as well as "Get Smart: Bruce and Lloyd Out of Control," "Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning," and "The Hills Run Red." The company is looking to release "A Christmas Story 2" on DVD and Blu-ray on October 30th. In the sequel, Ralphie (Braeden Lemasters) is a teenager and has his sights set on a new toy for Christmas: a 1938 Hupmobile Skyline Convertible.

Just when you thought the concept of direct-to-dvd sequels had been all but replaced by remakes and reboots, along comes Warner Home Video to remind us that Dtv flicks are still alive and well... and equally as frustrating. Apparently someone out there thought it was a good idea to create a sequel to the timeless holiday classic A Christmas Story without any of the original cast or creative team (admittedly, director Bob Clark and writer Jean Shepherd are no longer with us). Thirty years have passed since the original film was released but somehow Ralphie is only a teenager in this sequel, which certainly makes for some chronological confusion (I assume it is set in the 1940s?). Either way, Ralphie now has his sights set on a new toy for Christmas: a 1938 Hupmobile Skyline Convertible, which sounds slightly safer than a Red Ryder Bb Gun. Braeden Lemasters (Men of a Certain Age) will play Ralphie,...

Yes, friends, whether you like it or not we're finally getting that long-awaited Christmas Story sequel no one ever asked for this October 30, courtesy of Warner Home Entertainment, which means it's going straight to DVD/Blu-ray. Jingle All the Way director Brian Levant (who our own Scott Weinberg called a "soft-focus tripod" via Twitter) is behind this one, with a story that looks to pick up with Ralphie (Braeden Lemasters) as a teenager who desperately wants a Red Ryder 1938 Hupmobile Skyline Convertible for Christmas. Daniel Stern will play Ralphie's "Old Man," while Stacey Travis is his mother, and Valin Shinyei is brother Randy. Don't worry, both Flick (David W. Thompson) and Schwartz (David Buehrle) are in it too. But before...

(S01E10) A lot of things have changed for our favorite trio of men over the past nine episodes, and yet this tenth and final episode of the season managed to push each of them boldly into even bigger moments in their lives. For one, the change is definitely good. For another, it certainly has the potential for greatness. The third is completely up in the air.
Everything that's great about this show was on display in this installment. There is not a member of this cast who isn't knocking their performances out of the park on this show. Just as I was about to write that Scott Bakula was particularly impressive this week, I remembered a couple of scenes between Andre Braugher and Richard Gant (as his father) that were simply awe-inspiring. And then there's Ray Romano in the car with his son Albert, played by Braeden Lemasters. With very little dialogue,...

TNT has faith in their freshman series Men of a Certain Age. So much that they've decided to renew it for a second season before the first one is only half aired.
Men of a Certain Age follows the lives of three male friends who are adjusting to the challenges of middle age. The show stars Ray Romano, Andre Braugher, and Scott Bakula, and also features Norma Jean, Braeden Lemasters, Matt Price, Brittany Curran, Brian J. White, Shelly Desai, Lisa Gay Hamilton, Little Jj, Kwesi Boakye, Penelope Ann Miller, and Michael Hitchcock.
The series debuted to big numbers on December 7th, attracting 5.4 million viewers. That represented ad-supported cable's top launch of 2009 for households and those ages 25-54 (a natural demographic for the series).

Let me go on record now by saying that I am a 26 yr old African American male and Men of a Certain Age slightly scared me of what life could be one day. But to be honest, I felt that the show touched on points that I am actually experiencing now in life.
In short, the show is great.
The Set Up
The first of the guys we meet is Joe (Ray Romano), who wakes up in a hotel room at exactly 6:00 am to recite his morning wake up call and guess the temperature for the day. Apparently he has been staying there for a while. He looks into the mirror in his bathroom with a blank, knowing stare that says, "Who am I and how did I get here?" What a tone setter.

I’ve not seen or heard anything about this movie before we were given this new trailer today by Sony Pictures. It’s called The Stepfather and looks like it might be a pretty good thriller to end the year with.
The movie stars Dylan Walsh, Sela Ward, Penn Badgley, Adrianne Palicki, Amber Heard, Paige Turco, Braeden LeMasters, Skyler Samuels, Jon Tenney and is directed by Nelson McCormick. It’s scheduled for release 11th December so not too long to wait. Synopsis and trailer are below.
Synopsis: Michael Harding (Penn Badgley) returns home from military school to find his mother (Sela Ward) happily in love and living with her new boyfriend, David (Dylan Walsh). As the two men get to know each other, Michael becomes more and more suspicious of the man who is always there with a helpful hand. Is he really the man of her dreams or could...

Penn Badgley had almost the whole cast of Gossip Girl out to support him at last night's premiere of his new movie, The Stepfather in NYC. Not only was his girlfriend Blake Lively out and looking sexy in leather pants, but Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen, Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr all hit the red carpet. While they were taking in Penn's horror film moment, they were all on the small screen for an especially dramatic episode of their show - check out the top Wtf moments of the night on Buzz.
