Mario Batali came under fire again on Friday when he apologized for his bad behavior amid multiple accusations of sexual misconduct in a newsletter to fans that included a recipe for pizza dough cinnamon rolls.
The 57-year-old celebrity chef has withdrawn from his businesses and been fired from ABC’s The Chew after four women accused Batali of “inappropriate touching in a pattern of behavior that spans at least two decades” in an Eater story published Monday.
“As many of you know, this week there has been some news coverage about some of my past behavior,” Batali wrote on Friday.

Three for you, Barack Obama! And none for Donald Trump.
On Tuesday morning, Twitter released its list of 2017’s Most Retweeted Tweets, revealing that poignant messages from former President Obama nabbed three of the 10 spots. And despite spending much of this past year in a Twitter frenzy, exactly none of President Trump’s tweets made the cut.
Obama’s farewell tweets to the American people clocked in at numbers five and eight on the list, respectively:
“Thank you for everything. My last ask is the same as my first. I’m asking you to believe—not in my ability to create change,...

Depending which way you look at it, Seth MacFarlane has either been bravely calling attention to Hollywood’s alleged sexual abuse — or making light of it — since as early as 2005.
An early “Family Guy” episode rips on Kevin Spacey, who was recently accused of sexual misconduct with a minor by actor Anthony Rapp, of attempted rape of a minor by an anonymous artist, and of sexual harassment on the set of “House of Cards.” In 2012, “Family Guy” again poked at sexual assault rumors, this time at the expense of producer Brett Ratner, who was recently accused of sexual misconduct or assault by at least six women. MacFarlane himself made a joke about Harvey Weinstein, the initial scandal that broke the wall of silence about Hollywood’s rampant sexual abuse problem.

Rachel Maddow’s surprise announcement Tuesday night that she would be broadcasting portions of President Donald Trump‘s tax returns created a frenzy on social media.
But by the time The Rachel Maddow Show aired, reaction was mixed. Many liberals were disappointed that Maddow only had two pages of the billionaire businessman’s taxes from 2005 – and no bombshell.
Conservatives – including the president’s son Donald Trump Jr. – crowed that the documents showed Trump paid $38 million on $150 million in revenue, seemingly refuting claims that he dodged taxes.
Kal Penn got bored and changed the channel to Real Housewives of Beverley Hills.

Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen last night’s episode of How I Met Your Mother!
Last night we said goodbye to Ted, Lily, Marshall, Robin, and Barney after nine seasons — and also a more real goodbye to the mother, which tweeters were not pleased about. Some called the entire show a waste of time because of what happened in the finale (ouch); others threatened to punch a hole in the universe if Ted ended up with Robin (so, where’s that hole?). All in all, there was a ton of angry caps-lock used – but hey, we thought the finale was pretty okay.
