In a post on X Thursday afternoon, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) disclosed that her two daughters were victims of swatting.
Swatting refers to the act of making false emergency claims that trigger an extensive response from law enforcement agencies, typically targeted at public figures’ residences.
Greene wrote, “Both my daughter’s houses just got swatted today. Big thanks to the police who responded! We appreciate you and support you!”
Greene added, “Whoever is doing this, you are going to get caught and it won’t be funny to you anymore,” before she tagged the FBI account.
This incident shortly follows Greene’s own swatting encounter.
I was just swatted.
This is like the 8th time.
On Christmas with my family here.
My local police are the Greatest and shouldn’t have to deal with this.
I appreciate them so much and my family and I are in joyous spirits...

Almost exactly one year after Kevin Smith sold his horror anthology Killroy Was Here as an Nft (with the Ashley Benson slasher Alone at Night following in his footsteps soon after), Variety reports that XYZ Films has picked up the domestic distribution rights to another film that blends horror with crypto. Thankfully, this one isn’t being sold as an Nft, it will be heading out into the world in a more traditional way. The new movie is called The Deep Web: Murdershow and it will take viewers on a dark ride when a journalist’s search for clues to his sister’s murder leads him to a disturbing crypto currency torture website inside the deep web called The Murdershow. As those close to him disappear, he must find and stop this reign of terror.
The idea of torture website kind of reminds me of the Hostel movies. If that franchise were still alive,...

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got the job done on the trip to the U.S.
Last week, Prince William and Kate Middleton landed in Boston for a three-day tour, their first visit to America since 2014.

The trip began with some controversy, though, when domestic abuse activist Ngozi Fulani said a royal aide had repeatedly asked her racially-loaded questions at a Buckingham Palace event.
“I was really disappointed to hear about the guest’s experience. Racism has no place in our society. These comments were unacceptable, and it’s right that the individual has stepped aside with immediate effect,” William and Kate said in a statement.
But once they landed, the royal couple were unfazed by any controversy, a source told People.
“They were not distracted by anything and just got on with the job,...

Prince William and Kate Middleton made sure to have a little fun during their visit to Boston, Massachusetts. On Wednesday, the Prince and Princess of Wales watched the Boston Celtics take on the Miami Heat at Td Garden.
The pair were welcomed to the game by Boston news anchor and royal expert, Shannon Felton Spence, shaking the hands of excited fans as they made their way to their seats, where they were seen showing some rare Pda.
The 40-year-old royals sat courtside at the sporting event alongside former basketball player and Massachusetts Governor-Elect Maura Healey and Emilia Fazzalari, wife of Celtics owner Wyc Grousebeck. Michelle Yeoh was honored with the SeeHer Award during Gold House’s inaugural gala on Saturday night. In a night that celebrated Aapi excellence and heritage, Yeoh said, “All women’s stories need to be told and seen.”
“I arrived here and saw the sea of amazing Asian beautiful faces and realized I’m not in Hong Kong, I’m not in Malaysia, I’m in freaking in Los Angeles, and we are celebrating each other,” Yeoh said as she accepted the award from directors Jon M. Chu and Destin Daniel Cretton, and producer Jonathan Wang.
She talked about the importance of women and representation. “Science tells us women outlive men. But even with extra time, we have to get a lot more done. If you try to have a baby after the age of 35, science tells us that is a geriatric pregnancy. While men are just starting their lives.
