New Year’s Eve sometimes yields worse things than introspective melancholia, hangovers and/or regretful one-night stands, as is the case in Ritchie Filippi’s upcoming horror feature The Eve. Read on for the one-sheet debut and several stills.
Written by producer and The Eve star Evan Bass and additionally produced by Angel L. Acevedo and David M. Rheingold, The Eve features cinematography by Brian C. Harnick and editing by Jess King with a score by Kenneth Hampton. The story revolves around a group of friends who, while celebrating New Year’s Eve on a remote island off of Martha’s Vineyard, find themselves marauded by an unforeseen presence which halts their celebration and turns their holiday into a fight to live through to the new year.

Burglars have returned a haul of stolen goods to a home after regretting their actions, reports The Daily Telegraph. Baked beans, butter, tuna, bread, computer games, DVDs and a sat-nav were stolen from the home of Jess King, Andy Walker, Rachel Storr and Lawrence Simms. The thieves chose to ignore a laptop, TV and Xbox. However, 24 hours later the stolen goods were returned with a note, reading: "Sorry for taking this stuff - very, very drunk and stupid."
