Part scripted buddy-comedy road movie and part prank show, Bad Trip follows hot on the heels of the Impractical Jokers movie, mixing well-plotted laughs with the kind of comedy that only comes from the sheer terror of being in the middle of a well-planned prank… But then what else would you expect from Jeff Tremaine, both a star and a producer on only king of the prank shows Jackass, but also the Johnny Knoxville starring “Jackass Presents” movie Bad Grandpa – a film which is an obvious inspiration for this outing!
What I’d expect is a good movie. Bad Trip is Not a good movie. There’s a very good reason this is now – thanks...

"That's a stolen car!" "Maybe we can get somebody to help us fix it?" File under: "wait, this isn't out yet??" Nope! Orion Pictures never released this movie due to the pandemic shutdown last year, despite originally being scheduled to open in 2019. Instead, Netflix has picked it up and will be releasing it streaming starting this March almost two years late. From one of the guys that brought you Jackass and Bad Grandpa, this hidden camera comedy follows two best friends as they go out on a cross-country road trip full of hilarious, inventive pranks, pulling its real-life audience into the mayhem. The prank comedy features Eric Andre, Lil Rel Howery, Charles Green, Adam Meir, and Tiffany Haddish. We already ran two other trailers for this a year ago and here is one more below to build up hype for the final Netflix release soon. Have fun. Here's the third...

"Why did you do that?!" Orion Pictures has debuted the second trailer, another raucous red band trailer, for the road trip prank comedy Bad Trip, which was delayed from releasing last fall, now opening in theaters coming up in April. This all-out comedy feature is written by the same guy who wrote Bad Grandpa, to give you an idea of what to expect, and has an actual plot about two friends who go on a cross-country road trip pulling pranks. "Real actors pranking real people." The pranks in this are pretty ridiculous, but it is cool to see them play into the plot. This stars Eric Andre, Lil Rel Howery, Charles Green, Adam Meir, and Tiffany Haddish. It's hard not to chuckle at this, even if it's not your kind of humor, these guys pull it off. Here's the second official red band trailer for Kitao Sakurai's Bad Trip,...

"We are about to embark upon the trip of a lifetime." Orion Pictures has unveiled the first official trailer for a new comedy titled Bad Trip, the latest prank comedy to follow in the footsteps of the "Jackass" series of shows & movies before it. This all-out comedy feature is written by the same guy who wrote Bad Grandpa, to give you an idea of what to expect, and has an actual plot about two friends who go on a cross-country road trip pulling pranks. "Real actors pranking real people." You'll get a taste of how crazy these pranks are in this first trailer. The cast includes Eric Andre, Lil Rel Howery, Charles Green, Adam Meir, and Tiffany Haddish. If you never enjoyed the Jackass movies, you probably won't enjoy this one either. But it is kind of funny to see these people react to such ridiculousness. It's not easy to...

A few months ago filmmaker Ramzi Abed provided us with several stills and a teaser for his upcoming metaphysical, psychedelic, drug-addled sci-fi/horror film In a Spiral State, which is being released by cutting edge studio Halo-8 Entertainment; and today we were pointed in the direction of the flick's official trailer.

Two words that are near and dear to my heart are "metaphysical" and "psychedelic", and Ramzi Abed's new film In a Spiral State promises to be both. Along with drug-addled and mindbending. Who's making such proclamations? Who else but Halo-8 Entertainment, one of the few companies around that still manages to create and distribute daring new films.
And In a Spiral State, described as a meditation on Hollywood self-destruction, angelic interventions, and the string theory, sounds nothing if not daring. Here's a brief synopsis:
In a Spiral State portrays Los Angeles through the eyes of Daya (Ofri Fuchs), an angel who's become mesmerized by the city's interconnected yet utterly isolated inhabitants, particularly its struggling and flawed artists, frauds, drug addicts, and murderers. A second angel Gadi (Adam Meir) is unable to prevent Daya from interfering in their lives, as this empathetic angel is drawn into the frightening and twisted machinations of the city's underbelly.

Halo-8 Entertainment gave Fango the scoop that it has picked up worldwide distribution rights to the hallucinatory independent horror film In A Spiral State, directed by Ramzi Abed. The company also let us know that the filmmaker and Spiral’s stars will be signing at this weekend’s Fango convention in La.
In A Spiral State features Bianca Barnett (right, who will also be seen this year in the Mti release Albino Farm) and Lizzy Strain (above, who appeared opposite her sister Julie Strain in Abed’s previous The Devil’S Muse as well as Delta Delta Die! and others), who will appear at the Halo-8 table at the Weekend of Horrors with the director this Saturday, April 18. Spiral focuses on an angel (Ofri Fuchs) who begins to interact and interfere with the lives of humans (both good and evil), and a second angel (Adam Meir) who attempts to stop him.
