Born in 1972. Began working as a journalist in 1990, in a television
show famous for its irreverence and sometimes outrageous content. From
there on, he spent several years working as a news reporter in several
Portuguese newspapers, mostly in the international affairs sections. By
1998 he finished his MSC in Communication Studies at Universidade
Catolica Portuguesa and moved on to TV again - producing several news
programs and talk shows. Later he finished his MBA in Foreign Politics,
with a specialization in European Affairs. In the year 2000 he founded,
with a partner, a production company named Companhia de Ideias, and
spent nine years developing several original programs for Portuguese
television. In recent years he moved towards creative documentaries,
foreign affairs news debates and educational features. By 2009 he left
Companhia de Ideias and has launched a new media company called
VitriMedia, from which he develops all his current work, mostly as a TV
Producer; but also as a Journalist, a New Media Specialist and a
Foreign Affairs pundit.
