- All the music you hear in the Ghosts of Mars (2001) film is original and was played to picture by Anthrax, which was produced and recorded by Bruce Robb at Cherokee Studios in Hollywood. Carpenter had originally selected a Metallica cut, when Robb suggested bringing in the famed heavy metal band Anthrax who it turns out are also big John Carpenter fans. The results yielded an award-winning soundtrack.
